SL65 not worth the $200,000 price tag. You'd be better off with the Corvette ZR1 that's $100,000 price tag. If and only if you're looking for a car for performance and speed then you'd go with the ZR1. If you just went for the SL65 because it's a Mercedes then it's still a crappy car and a rip off of a price. SL63 would be the better choice.

the sl600 is worth buying because it's faster than the sl63 and less expensive. obviously the sl65 amg is the best, but i like the sl600, because you get a v12 without the big price of the sl65 amg

well i'm in Canada and i have the brochure because my dad is looking to buy it. from what i"ve read the sl600 is less expensive than sl63. prices probably vary greatly from place to place.

@sspope i would'nt go as far as call it utter shit , but lets keep this honest , sl's may have wonderful comfort and a seemingly quality build , buts it is one of the worst rated vehicles in terms of reliability , id much rather a sl over a corvette , but in the past the sl has been making more visits to the dealership than the vettes , both cars have below average reliability i agree the sl is amazing but it isnt all roses either.

i agree.. kinda.. but merc is a brand that has a rich racing heritage and they invest millions and millions on reseach and innovation and preformance and reliability... but corvette??? i don't know.... it might have performance but its an butt ugly car... i'd rather go with a cheaper AMG like the C63 or the SLK than the ZR1.
