Your game is actually amazing. The choice of music's really unique yet works really well, the levels all feel new despite being made from bits and pieces of other Sonic games and the boss fights are all really intelligently designed. Also the story could easily fit into the official canon. it's simple yet effective. I really can't fault this. good work~

I noticed the improvement in Tail's faster speed animation compared to the last. Nice call on that one. I also noticed your comment on how its not from Sonic CD. There is an animation sprite that I suggest you use from that game where sonic goes "super sonic" I guess when you tap the a button while holding the up button. I think it looks pretty cool and makes a bit more sense.

I really want to play this game, but the problem is, it's a Zip file. That means that I can't open it using Windows Explorer, and it's hard finding zip file opening programs that don't cost money! Please consider making a version of this game compatible with Windows Explorer.

Uncap the speed limiter (it makes it hard to get to certain heights)

And A LOT of bug fixes.

So I've made it as far as Tail's stage, and so far, its pretty damn good. Music is classic Sonic goodness, the story is told very well with the 2-D sprites, although I must say that the Sonic CD-like drawings could be better, but it can be looked over. I just have a few requests:

Make it possible to full screen and/or make it possible to set the resolution higher.

Make it possible to set the keys, like for an Xbox 360 controller without using 3rd party tools.

Sound test

Debug mode

Alright, finally downloaded this. Played about 4 levels so far and I have to say...

1) The gameplay is excellent.

2) The animations and music are horrible.

3) The recognizable sprites from other games are horrible.

With a little more work, this could be one of the best Sonic fan games. Unfortunately, random Kirby music, unoriginal music taken from other Sonic games, and the crappy sprite animations with "drawings" stolen directly from Sonic CD, kind of killed it.

This game actually looks REALLY good! Is this a ROM hack / expansion? Is this coded from an already made Sonic PC engine? Or was the engine, and everything else coded from scratch?

I'm sure I could research more before I download, but just thought of asking here in case anyone else has the same question.

(Though, I must admit, some of the stolen Super Mario World 2 enemies seemed a bit odd. =P)
