My BMI is close to 50, and I'm concidering getting a gastric bypass. I've talked to my doctor about it, and she thinks it is a good way to go for me. But it's a big decision, so I'm going to think it over for at least another year. Videos like yours are a big help and inspiration. Thank you!

Excellent video...hey, I had to weigh myself on the industrial scale at work. It is a two faced scale...plus it is on the dock where there are three entry ways. I had to do it when a truck was not coming in and my co workers out waiting to unload the truck. So many times someone would be coming in and I would pretend I was just walking out there. Keys out of my pocket, jacket off and on a shelf there...pretending that I did not care!

Oh, Darlin' - please don't get discouraged! You've done AMAZING things in a year and your body needs some time to get used to the "new" ways :) I know it's frustrating, but please try to be easy on yourself....it will be far easier that way (after over 40 years of dieting, this is something I am just learning!)

It will start dropping again if that is what you want, just take it easy and try not to place any blame on yourself, promise? :))))

Hello. Congrats to you. I had my surgery a year ago Feb 27, 2008. I feel and look like a different person. I have noticed that I have started to really slow down on my weight loss, so I am going to have to change up what I am doing. I was 365 lbs the morning of surgery and I am somewhere around 200lbs now. What a struggle we face. Best of luck to you.Keep working it!!!!!

I really started to slow down 9 months post op and well that's where I said goodbye to the honeymoon stage and gained a few, lost them, gained them again and lost another 3 lbs after months of nothing happening on the scale recently.But courage my friend because WE CAN and WILL win this battle!!For me I think it's time to really step up to the game now and work my hinny off big time if I ever want to lose the last 50lbs!

Loved seeing the change I was at one time 447lbs. and know how it feels to finally see your self small and get into a beautiful wedding gown I remarried and wore a size 12 gown it blew me away again you look great..love rosemary

Thanks Karla, i'm definitely happier and it's still surreal to me when i look back at the before's photos.I didn't really have must old pics since being in front of a camera was something avoided with all cost but i'm glad to say that this isn't the case anymore. :)
