The triple ring pirouette which is shown in the replay at 1:59 is EPIC!!!Do any other gymnasts do it? Never seen Anya Besso do it;) (joking, back flexibility was never Anyas strongest point, but her leaps are breathtaking). Anyway this is an incredible routine.
@seriex5 this costume represents russian traditional clothing style....I am only talking about the style of the costume......not the costume itself....meaning that russians (like me) used to wear clothing with similar style....dont judge her by her costume........keep it to yourself......be nice
@Fufabbly69 Well, this music, composed by Glinka, is all about Spain (he was in love for this country). Judging by this fact, her leo is more spanish than russian-like. Anyway, it is not sooo specific like others leos, but, imo, it is more suitablein a spanish music than a kalinka, for example...
you can guess Kapranovas number, you jest have to watch on youtube reportage Olga Kapranova - Ty ne poverish - NTV it is in russian she is saying her number at the end with two mistakes and you have to guess what are the real numbers!

She's definitely very strong and consistent at the moment and her results this year have shown that. As talened as she is, she still lacks that 'presence' on the carpet that Bessonova shows every time. But certainly, by far the best Russian!!
Oh and this routine is sooo much better than Sessina's clubs to the same music!
she's good, but I prefere ribbon and rope....clubs are good but actually nothing special...have you seen how funny is viner?now that sessina got injured she smile at kanaeva and hug her..."come on, join the vinerstan zhenia"...I hope this will never happen....I don't want zhenia to lose her originality,her elegance and her expressivity...
I think that she´s more expression than other russian...and I agree with us about Bessonova...but I have to say that I want to watch kanaeva on tv in olympics a thousand times than watch sessina or kapranova..

mhmm I don't like the choreography.. amazing TV but she is not so dynamic following the music..and the routine results not fluid too static and boring to see..even if she has many great tricks and shows a great handling.. Anna's clubs make me scream at the end of the routine!!

she usually wears stunning leos, like her red ribbon leo, and the pink one from beijing......but this is wayyyyyyyyyyyy tooooooo ugly!!!
