I think when you die, You re-live your lifev over and over for infinite. You would never know you have died before, or have no memory of your life before you restarted. This would also explain how some people feel like they have been or seen something before.. Because they have..
Your idea is amazing I like it, I had dreams were shadows come to get me but they only come for a inner being that resides inside of me and I believe that is to be my soul. I think that this theory might make sense. Almost every person I know has a different perspective. Some say you loose everything, you loose track of time and all of your senses. Some say you become a ghoast. Some are too scared to talk about death, and most belive in Haven and Hell. I never heard your theory before. At first I was confused, but when you said people who half died, but were instantly revived saw a white light; I thought that might of made sense, but no we will never know....

thats not necessarily true. Do you remember what it was like when you were first born? of course not, so that doesnt necessarily mean that we didnt exist before we came to life. Maybe our human body and mind only allows us to remember so much. The problem I have with this line of thought is that if there be no god, no afterlife, and we just die like everything else does, then all the time spent waiting, and thinking about it, was a waste of a life you have right here, and right now. A theory is a scientific concept that has been repeatedly tested and peer reviewed. The theory of gravity. The theory of evolution. Atomic theory. Etc etc etc. A theory is one of the best ways we can know what is correct or incorrect.

we live in a 4d universe. we are constantly moving through time. this is true all the way down to a 1d universe. time is the first dimension(or last if you think of it as progressing downwards) also the universe is a gigantic black hole. it is possible that, at the point of death, a hole is created in space-time. As your hypothese is not based on observations, it is not correct to call it a theory.
Also, there seems to be some holes in the hypothese, such as why is there light between the dimentions, and how are souls connected to the 3rd dimention.
think of it like this, you exist at different places in time, you might be aware of where u are now, but lets say in the dimension of time your 3 years old (alternate dimension) time is a string and if possible ud be able to go to diff parts of it, like in back to the future when biff ruined the original timeline and marty went back and went to the good time line, hell in another timeline u could be famous or even dead right now.

However, I view everything in our current world to also have a 4th dimension, as every living and nonliving item of matter is changing, its just that none of us and nothing we know of can move about this dimension. If we were suddenly provided the ability to have a 4th degree of freedom, back and forth through time, I don't see that as entering another world, but just access to another degree of freedom.
We also live an experience of 2 degrees of freedom as well, as objects have surfaces and we also deal with 1 dimension as well, like when we work with specific points in space.

Earlier today I went to the Doc and while waiting there, I picked up a magazine (Awake), in there I read that only 144,000 go to Heaven.
It was funny the way a guy, sitting next to me was acting up as if I were reading a satanic book or something likely, in fact, he got up and sat somewhere else.
As I was reading, I believed I read almost the whole Awake, in one part it clearly stated that only 144,000 goes to heaven and the rest of people (Saved I guess), in the millions will live on Earth (something like that). In one part it also stated that this is found in the Bible and ofcourse, it gives citations.
Nothing, but nothing about "hell".
I also read that the condition of anyone who died is as simple as "nothing".
If you were to ask me: "Do we live after we died?", my answer would be: "I don't know".
On April 4, 2009 I went to the Cemetery to pay my respect to my Dad who died 4 years ago. I performed a test (EVP) to see what would happen and to my surprise, when reviewing the tape I got 2 messages. I showed it to my Wife & Brother and they freaked out. Not me. However, I can't recognize the voices which are 2 different ones.
One said: "Puerco!" (Which means pig in Spanish). The other voice...

You, on the other hand, were told to believe and to defend no matter what, the opposite.
Ok, as a third choice, here comes a guy who doesn't believe either way, aka Mr. Atheist who was either never told neither way or told to believe and defend no matter what the rejection of anyone going to heaven even if the Bible says so.
The truth is only one, but the problem now are with three choices? .
1- Mr.Christian (You)
2- Mr. Jehovah's Witness
3- Mr. Atheist
If 1 is correct, 2 & 3 are incorrect. If 2 is correct, 1 & 3 = incorrect. If 3 is correct, 2 & 3 are incorrect.
Now, the truth is that one of the three has to be right, but the problem is that the three claim to be correct but none of the three can prove it, at least correctly but in deed incorrectly.
Based on the only given choices, which are only three, I can only add another choice as an alternative number 4; don't know (Me).

And the reason why I choose mumber 4 is because while 1, 2 & 3 claim they are right in their own belief, the possiblity of the opposite is there as well when once and for all, the truth is reveal, then and only then, I will make a choice between 1 to 3.

I asked this elder why other books aren't included in the common bible, including theirs and he said that they weren't because they are apocrypha. The following Sunday, I went to the Kingdom Hall by myself. The couple and this elder weren't there but some of the members I knew were.

A casual search for 'theory' on a dictionary website uncovered this definition: "a nontechnical name for hypothesis". i had a dream one time.....
somone was holding my hand,couldn't see the face,thenhe/she took a blade and cut my wrist. In the dream i could actually feel the blood coming out with a weak feeling and my life slipping away...i said "dont let me die please let this be a dream"...moments later i woke up with a tear drop on corner of my eye

I think that this theory might make sense. Almost every person I know has a different perspective. Some say you loose everything, you loose track of time and all of your senses. Some say you become a ghoast. Some are too scared to talk about death, and most belive in Haven and Hell. I never heard your theory before. At first I was confused, but when you said people who half died, but were instantly revived saw a white light; I thought that might of made sense, but no we will never know....

thats not necessarily true. Do you remember what it was like when you were first born? of course not, so that doesnt necessarily mean that we didnt exist before we came to life. Maybe our human body and mind only allows us to remember so much. your concept of our dimensions is an odd one, to be kind.
we have three dimensions of space
up-down
left-right
backwards-forwards
we also have a dimension of time, which we travel forwards in at varying velocities depending on the local gravitational strength, satalites have their clocks constantly reset because they are always out of synch with the earths surface.
the light can be explained by the shutdown proccesses of the brain.
it covers ghosts tho, which is unique.

Well the other Cpu would be in the same boat of not knowing what that would be like because the owner at some point does turn the computer back on. so the CPU says when the day I never get turned back on i will know what it is like...

Good theroy atleast as good as any other. the white light may be God. Time would have no meaning in heaven. For those that think everything just ends and fade to black game over, maybe for you that is what is going to happen. If you think you go somewhere else maybe you will. There is no practical difference between a "near death experience" and what happens to someone when you choke them to near death, aka asphyxiation.
There is no evidence that ghosts are a real thing.

Really? Then how come ghosts aren't accepted by mainstream science? If there was all this evidence laying around, it would result in scientific investigation under controlled conditions. we live in a 4d universe. we are constantly moving through time. this is true all the way down to a 1d universe. time is the first dimension(or last if you think of it as progressing downwards) also the universe is a gigantic black hole. it is possible that, at the point of death, a hole is created in space-time. This would require massive amounts of energy, and this may be where the white light comes in. also, the next higher type of universe would be able to move though time, up down left

Nice thought, thoug I just have to say it is a hypothese, not a theory. A theory is, (definition quote from wikipedia) "A theory, in the general sense of the word, is an analytic structure designed to explain a set of observations". As your hypothese is not based on observations, it is not correct to call it a theory.
Also, there seems to be some holes in the hypothese, such as why is there light between the dimentions, and how are souls connected to the 3rd dimention.

think of it like this, you exist at different places in time, you might be aware of where u are now, but lets say in the dimension of time your 3 years old (alternate dimension) time is a string and if possible ud be able to go to diff parts of it, like in back to the future when biff ruined the original timeline and marty went back and went to the good time line, hell in another timeline u could be famous or even dead right now.

As I was reading, I believed I read almost the whole Awake, in one part it clearly stated that only 144,000 goes to heaven and the rest of people (Saved I guess), in the millions will live on Earth (something like that). In one part it also stated that this is found in the Bible and ofcourse, it gives citations.
Nothing, but nothing about "hell".
I also read that the condition of anyone who died is as simple as "nothing".

On April 4, 2009 I went to the Cemetery to pay my respect to my Dad who died 4 years ago. I performed a test (EVP) to see what would happen and to my surprise, when reviewing the tape I got 2 messages. I showed it to my Wife & Brother and they freaked out. Not me. However, I can't recognize the voices which are 2 different ones.

I am somehow skeptical, perhaps because I figure that the mind is capable of not just doing, but also creative, may be to the point of creating even "entities or whatever we can make of" to the point of, perhaps even giving life to, whatever it created, but it's nothing more than delussions.

That's where I have a problem accepting that the Bible as we know it "now" (66 books) is the only inspired word of God.
That is something we were told to believe and defend no matter what.

Now, about the 144,000 people to go to heaven. The Bible does mention that number and it does say they are 12,000 from each tribe of Israel.
A Jehovah's Witness was told to believe and to defend no matter what that only those 144,000 will go to heaven (some alive today and I met one claiming so).
You, on the other hand, were told to believe and to defend no matter what, the opposite.
But wait, the truth is either one, not both.
Which one is it?.

Ok, as a third choice, here comes a guy who doesn't believe either way, aka Mr. Atheist who was either never told neither way or told to believe and defend no matter what the rejection of anyone going to heaven even if the Bible says so.
The truth is only one, but the problem now are with three choices? .
1- Mr.Christian (You)
2- Mr. Jehovah's Witness
3- Mr. Atheist
If 1 is correct, 2 & 3 are incorrect. If 2 is correct, 1 & 3 = incorrect. If 3 is correct, 2 & 3 are incorrect.

Now, the truth is that one of the three has to be right, but the problem is that the three claim to be correct but none of the three can prove it, at least correctly but in deed incorrectly.
Based on the only given choices, which are only three, I can only add another choice as an alternative number 4; don't know (Me).
In Zen & Taoism I learn that "I don't know" is an honest answer, and I'm being honest.

And the reason why I choose mumber 4 is because while 1, 2 & 3 claim they are right in their own belief, the possiblity of the opposite is there as well when once and for all, the truth is reveal, then and only then, I will make a choice between 1 to 3.

In a Catholic Bible you'll find more books than in the evangelical bible (protestants actually).
Back in the days my Wife and I were having bible study classes from this JW's couple. We were studying another book as well (Paradise on Earth).
Plain and simple they made it clear from the start: "All religions and sects aside of JW's are "garbage".
Anyway, when this couple couldn't make it, they would send someone else, an elder.

Just like you, they believe the bible is all it can be, but wait, not all bibles, only theirs.
I asked this elder why other books aren't included in the common bible, including theirs and he said that they weren't because they are apocrypha. But then, I signaled to him what he said a few minutes before: "All scripture is inspired by God". After asking him some questions, he replied: "If they should be included in the Bible, the Watchtower would of approve it by now".

And as you can see, they haven't.
The following Sunday, I went to the Kingdom Hall by myself. The couple and this elder weren't there but some of the members I knew were.
On one hand, I was treated like a black guy in the middle of the kkk. Cold shoulder more likely, totally indifference and I noticed that the members acted as if they own the planet or as if they are a unique group of selected ones by a higher source. Their attitude said it all.

Pride!. That's what I saw in them. However, on some of them, I saw sad faces, very much like the prisoners who would give anything to be free.
The internet has a lot to offer and makes it eassier to find all sort of information. Google is my favorite, eventhough at times I prefer Altavista to avoid poping adas.

You can also go to the public library as well.

But the fact that I believe in God doesn't mean I would believe exactly as others do, specifically in man interpretation.
I may be wrong, but I feel that churches are institutions place there to almost force a member to believe exactly as they tell you what to believe in and then, go on and bring some more in, as many as you can because the bible says so. If you question anything, you become a suspect. and man, I've been kicked out of many christian forums just for asking simple questions.

Hi, Catholics believes that evangelicals, the good ones, go straight to purgatory right after they die and I remember a woman paying the priest a fee to pray for her ex husband's soul suffering in purgatory. you act as if death is a beginning of a new life, that's nonsensical if you understand basic biology.. death is a mysterious thing but if nothing happens when you die you wouldn't be around to care about being dead. if we live on our memories might only be physical so we are reborn clear minded into another dimension

There is no ETERNITY in hell, there is punishment. But thinking you would be an eternity in hell for anything would completely collapse the cosmic balance of the universe, its simply not logical.

Well, it cannot be called a "theory" for a number of reasons:
1) It cannot be falsified.
2) You make too many assumptions- axioms.
3) It predicts things that cannot be tested.
Yet you can still claim you have this hypothesis of yours :) Very improbable, but at least it's better than anything the major religions can offer.

I think it's a marvelous attempt to think it through. Can't I take some stuff with me and go back and forth if I would choose, I can't check it out first and go there if I like it better. All this isn't fair! Or just isn't right! Something is amiss I would say about what happens when you die. It feels like all the preachers in the world are in leagues with the demons to give a tiny bit of answer ALL THESE YEARS and I say "I'm sorry Pastor X,Y Z.... but you are too unknowledgeable for my needs.

I believe when we die, if we are left here as ghosts,the so-called real physical world becomes a dream to you where we can walk around outside the physical body. Like walk around with a jacket (the flesh body) on then taking it off and continue using your spiritual sense. That's just my theory.
