  • where do you get the bubbles?

  • @6besties101 search for Factory Direct Craft on google, once you get to the site, type in "Lady Gaga" in the search box and it should bring up all the bubbles and also a kit that is put together with all the bubbles you would need for one leotard. You just need to buy your own leotard!

  • The best fanmade Bubble dress I've ever seen!! Congrats!! how long it takes?

  • @SheyGaGaVEVO Thanks!! I did it over a couple weeks (I took my time)... adding bubbles here and there lol so many bubbles! So Im not too sure on how many hours it would have been.

  • @TheFdcs No problem ;) I hope someday get these bubbles and make my own dress! Cause that's my favorite outfit :D ...Thank you've inspired me ;)

  • Where can we purchace the "bubbles?' thanks!

  • @ThisIsAlittleMonster search for Factory Direct Craft on google, once you get to the site, type in "Lady Gaga" in the search box and it should bring up all the bubbles and also a kit that is put together with all the bubbles you would need for one leotard.

  • love that dress you made!

  • @lexzee429 Thanks! It took soooo long lol but worth it in the end

  • @TheFdcs It looks like it took a long time but it was totally worth it 4 you to make a dress like that.

  • lol that dress.

  • Will the bubbles be stable? While sewing it seemed like they would hang too much and the threat would snap...and do you just cut the thread when you're done? Like will the final dress be made up of hundreds of little threads or one very very long thread?? and do you glue the thread down after attaching one bubble? thanks!!

  • @mackseemax1 Sorry for the delayed response! I sewed all the bubbles onto the suit as close as I could get it. I had my thread doubled onto the needle and I also went through the suit and bubble a couple times so that the thread would be thick and hopefully be able to keep the bubbles on. Some of threads became longer after I could no longer get so close to the suit. So I would use a thread that is really close to the suit's color. Then I glued bubbles on top of the sewed ones. Hope this helps!

  • @amelia9611 Thanks!! Yes, you must watch that episode, it is one of the best so far this season I think personally.

  • Instead of sewing the bubbles, what kind of glue can you use?

  • @mackseemax1 We used a combination of sewing and gluing.. we arent too sure about just gluing all the balls onto the body suit... so we cant guarantee the best results... but we would suggest maybe a super glue or something along those lines.

  • @TheFdcs I'm sorry, just one more question...do you have any links to websites or stores where I can purchase a nude colored dress...leotard, etc. or whatever you used? Thanks!!

  • @mackseemax1 Youtube wont let us send you links, but try searching on something like Amazon and typing in "nude leotard" or "nude bodysuit" That should come up with something for you!! I hope your costume turns out well! Best of luck!

  • I'm thinking about getting that box of 74 bubbles for around 70 dollars. Is it worth it? I want to make the dress, but is that a stupid way to spend money? (i want my sis to order it for me for christmas)...

  • @mackseemax1 We havent had any complaints about the bubbles and have had many people rave about the costumes they made. If you check out the balls on our site... you will see the reviews for the kit... one person even said people stopped her and took pictures with her... so we say well worth the money ;) I personally think this is the best and unique Gaga costume you could make. I love it!

  • @TheFdcs Thanks! I'm REALLY eager to make it. Love the tutorial, it helps me out so much!

  • car ride must be fun with those bubbles lol

  • How do you get the dress on? It looks like after you sew the bubbles on it would be crazy hard to put the thing on... esp if you use a leotard... has anyone actually tried it?

  • @xseeinstarzx It is doable but kind of crazy hard to get on at the same time lol I would recommend having someone help you get it on. I would also make sure that your bubbles are sewn/glued on really well!! Let me know if you have any other problems or concerns!

  • Where did you get the dress you sewed the bubbles on?

  • @Ireallywantacookie Try searching on amazon for "nude leotard" or "nude bodysuit" you should be able to find something you are looking for there. Thats where I got mine.

  • Where can i buy the bubbles? i'm from spain

  • @Cheerrryy1 Hi! You can actually get the bubbles by searching for Factory Direct Craft Supply and once you get to the site, type in "Lady Gaga" in the search bar. There is a kit with all the bubbles counted for you already as well, which can make things easier. Hope this helps! Good luck with your costume!

  • Is there any way to get the bubbles for a little bit cheaper? The total cost for 36 bubbles costs about $60.00. I have already started making the rest of my costume and I really don't want to spend that much...any advise? By the way that looks AMAZING!

  • @steeldrumchic Sorry there isnt any other way to get the bubbles any cheaper. But maybe you could do more smaller bubbles and just a couple bigger bubbles? That would cut the cost down a little bit. Thanks so much for the compliments and sorry I cant help you too much!

  • wow that was amaysing when you bought them did they come in bundals or singls

  • @wittymoreno10 The bubbles come in singles, search for Factory Direct Craft, once you get to their site, type in "Acrylic Fillable Ball Ornament" in the search box, then all the different sizes should come up.

This site is great because they give discount breaks if you are buying more than 12 or 72 of each so the price for each gets lower. Just click on the pictures and the price breaks will be in the left corner. Hope this helps!

  • @TheFdcs thank you so much

  • Thanks so much for posting this video! I have a question for you: Did you (or anyone else) actually wear the bubble dress? I want to make one but am trying to figure out if I should sew it while it's on a mannequin/dress form or a floor because I actually want to wear it. Do you think it would be too difficult to get it off of a mannequin/dress form after sewing it?

  • HI! I love this video! Thanks so much for uploading it. I have a question for you: Did you (or anyone else) actually wear the bubble dress? I am wondering if I should sew mine on a mannequin or on the floor because I intend to wear it. Thanks!

  • @cosettemstrong Glad you loved the video. Have not worn the bubble dress yet. Sewing of the acrylic fillable balls onto the outfit would depend on a couple of factors. Such as, how tight is the leotard or other piece of apparel you are wearing. You can sew the bubbles onto part of the leotard then complete it once it is on. If you will be sitting don't forget to take that into account! You may only wish to sew on the front and top of the back if you plan on sitting. Hope this info helps!

  • how many plastic bubbles did you need to make the outfit?

  • how many of the plastic bubbles did you need to complete the outfit ?

  • @foreylol Thanks for watching my video! I used several different sizes of the acrylic ornaments to make the dress. I used about 29 of 60mm, 23 of the 70mm, 13 of the 80mm, 24 of the 110mm and 8 of the 140mm. This was all for a 34b leotard. So the count will depend on what size the leotard is and what kind of look you are going for.
