exec undo360controller will disable the 360 controller layout and return to the default keyboard layout. (Vote this up so others will stop asking the same question). It's a shame that the game developers didn't put these settings conveniently in the options menu.

@thescout49 yes, you can use a wired one and with windows 7 the drivers will automatically install, or using an xbox 360 wireless gaming reciever for windows, which is the only way for wireless controllers to be used

And gamepads are much better for games like Super Meat Boy, and LIMBO.
