It is strange&strong movie.I survived till the end because I admire the acting skills of Shin Ha Kyun perhaps it needs re-watching to understand the message better,All I get now is "the earth is hopeless"& Shin Ha Kyun is marvellous :)

I've never seen a movie that combined so many different genre elements so well (comedy (intentional and unintentional), horror, kung fu, suspense. b-movie, sci-fi, drama), and it's all wrapped up in this massive core of sadness. One of the great existential films of all time, surely the most emotional credit sequence.

That is one amazing child actor. HIs expressions took my breath away. The main character (shin ha kyun)... sheer genius to watch. Such a strange and VERY moving film.

i love the way they wove up the end title scene. tiny bits of happiness he had as a kid... everything shatters in a traumatic tragedy. but the music still climbs up together with his life struggling to bloom to taste love, and his love was an ugly girl in a circus.

it feels so bitter sweet... so vain like this broken tv monitor, lonely in space where no one is left now, still spinning the tale of untold glories.
