or upload to pc direct from the cam then colour correct to taste then convert to a 2 pass vbr H,264 format and bingo even better online picture but only if you dont use youtube cause they havent figgered out how good the H.264 codec is and u cant use it on youtube
aiirmaan335: one way to solve your problem is to read the manual, and if you've stolen the camera (as I think you have) just download the manual from JVC's site...
How did you get the HD button for youtube? I uploaded my video to Youtube using the included software but there is no HD button on the vid. Any suggestions?
your video has to be in HD, otherwise youtube doesn't show it up as hd, the resolution of your video has to be a certain size before it is "recognized" as hd, then it will do it for you.
I just bought it the other day, and had your problem as well. Than I realized that the software that comes along with the GZ-HM200 compresses the video when uploading it to youtube. To get HD, just backup the video files onto your computer and upload directly from the youtube website itself. You'll know it's correct if the uploading time takes considerably longer than with the software.
this may be late but anyway.. you need to make sure that when you edit your video and export it with your software you choose an hd resolution of your vid this is either 720p (res. 1280x720) or 1080p (full hd res. 1920x1080 pixels) then you'll most likely have an hd button : )

Just put &fmt=18 after the url. It's high quality and that's just about as good as HD.

that is no where near HD, just a "sharper" version of HQ, which sill kinda sucks.

upload in HD. If you do not have a certain resolution, the video will not be counted as HD and will not register as HD, therefor its not HD.

Some times it can take a day or two for the HD function to appear and to fully work on a video.

Rumor has it that you have to put the file on your computer and then upload it.
