You guys are focusing on the FPS of the rifle when that's not even the most important aspect of a sniper rifle. You failed to compare accuracy, upgradability, or hop-up between the two.
@VeqtorAirsoft the accuracy is about the same when both guns are stock, but the bar 10 is the clear winner after it has been modified a little bit. There aren't any upgraded parts that will fit the mp001, so the bar 10 is the winner in that category as well. I haven't done enough long range shooting to make a decision about the hop-up, but you can buy an upgraded set for the bar 10, so it has more potential.
@potatoflinger it wont be the same at all, due to the upgraded cylinder internals there will be more of a pressure wave vibrating down the barrel, ruining the long range accuracy.
hense people upgaded the barrel hop unit or rubber, barrel spacers with air flow, getting range and consistancy of fps anf flight path then up the power at the end .
@arronfoster17 I'm not sure exactly what you are trying to say. When both guns are the same, the consistency is about the same, meaning long range shooting for each gun is very similar. After the bar 10 is upgraded (spring, piston, sear set, barrel spacers and bumper) it performs much better than the other gun.
I don't think you need a bunch of fancy stuff to make an upgraded gun shoot well. A barrel spacer is all I needed. Anything else would just be splitting hairs.

I just purchased my bar 10 today, i was thinking between the agm l96 or mp001, or utg, but always been a jg fan, and dont wanna settle for less, bar 10 is beautiful gun I've heard.
@MrBruce1337 I don't have any experience with the other guns that you listed, but I think you will be happy with the bar 10. I have had mine for over a year now and I haven't had any problems with it.
@Calvino422 Sort of. They are both modeled after the same gun, but the cylinder on each one is a different size, so the internal parts are not interchangeable.
@Onlyusemebowieknife The Bar 10 is much better in my opinion. If you plan on upgrading your gun, the bar 10 can be upgraded but the mp001 cannot, so the bar 10 wins there. If you don't plan on upgrading your gun, you could go either way but the quality of the Bar 10 is much better than the quality of the mp001.
@drillfang25 I really am not sure. I have never heard of the agm vsr10, although I kind of have a feeling that it may be the exact same thing as the agm mp001. Most of these upgrades will not work with the agm mp001, although they will work with the TM vsr10.
