You are a tool if you blindly follow your leader into battle. Think about this: if YOUR country would become a nazi state, how could you be a patriot for that country? Patriotism is not bad, it is love for your country. Love can't be bad. The problem is though, that it is love for something that is not really, real. Country is man made. Countires, grow, shrink get divided etc. Patriotism can use a change in its definition, love of humanity, love of people, of all the people on the planet, love of Earth, love of life.
