Brianna, I am sorry about your grandfather being gravely ill. I have been there in that same position and was sad because I knew that I was going to lose them. I was here to see three of my grandparents die and pass over. It is good that he accepted you for who you became. He will be watching over you from another dimension and you are a sweet person.

I have just found this video and not commented on any of yours before but after watching it felt compelled to comment . I am sure that whatever the outcome was for you it has now happened and my condolences if it had an unhappy ending. However i am sure that your grandfather would have been proud to know that part of his legacy was to leave such a beautiful, warm, intelligent and caring human being behind.

Great vid with some deep ideas. Your description of the existential meaning of a transgendered life is pretty good. Self analysis provides the most profound sense of "the big picture". It kind of helps you settle into the groove of life as it flows by via self contentment and an increased sense of respect for others. Love grows out of ones acceptance of onesself. I believe that a trans would be well received;if they offer positivities to relationships and radiate a caring attitude toward others

You are so right about how fortunate we trans people are to be able to know ourselves. It's one of those processes that probably doesn't happenw without a crisis of some sort, and some people don't hit those points.

You know, for having trouble putting the right words together, you did a wonderful and eloquent job of saying what was on your mind! I was struck by several things that you said, your feelings for your grandfather, and "we get to find out who we are". I believe you're right, so many people go through life never really knowing who they are at any deeper levels.
