What I usually do against Thrasher is wait for him to go into the corner, jump up, and kick him. And then repeat when he gets up and repeat until he's dead. If he does his jumping hip splash or his multi-slap, the regular jump kick beats 'em both clean. :D
@AstronAstroll I know, but it's slow and too easy. Granted, the tactic I used was pretty cheap too but I only did it to show that you can actually do it. I usually try killing him in certain other ways like throwing because it gives more EXP.
The original was for the NES, but there is a collection game called "Capcom Classics Mini-Mix" for the GBA that has this game, Strider (NES version) and Bionic Commando.

Final Fight was an arcade game, it was later ported to other consoles. This is the NES port, called Mighty Final Fight. Also, this game isn't a direct port of the arcade game, as this version has a differently laid out plot, in the arcade version, the Mad Gear gang kidnaps Jessica because Haggar would not work with Mad Gear to ensure their dominance of the streets. In the NES version, Mad Gear kidnaps Jessica because their leader, Horace Belger has fallen in love with Jessica.
Even so, lmphk, the story is still a good one and Belger actually has a better attack pattern than the original arcade version of the game. Also, Damnd/Thrasher is not such a wimp in this game. His attacks here should be added to a Final Fight remake were they to give this game th same treatment as they gave to 1942 with that Joint Strike remix/rerelease. Do you not agree?
Well, since Capcom has lately been releasing some remakes (e.g. 1942 and Bionic Commando) as well as releasing the 8-bit styled Mega Man 9, I'd like to see a new Final Fight game in the style of the arcade/SNES versions. Another Mighty Final Fight wouldn't be a bad idea either.

There's all sorts of fun tricks you can abuse all throughout the game. You know that already as I saw you do some of them.

I had no idea there was a final fight for the NES.
At the time this was out i completely shift my focus on the SNES.
Capcom should have bought out a version of street fighter 2 for the NES also.
