i married a samoan girl and lived there for 3 years ..also stayed for varios stints 6months at a time whilst i built our house. Was wonderful and loved it and the people! but i cant lie was also hard and scarry at times as its a wild place and when stuff gets out of hand people get hurt or worse! but love Samoa..it was truley the happiest time of my life ( at times) when i was there! So sad for the sunami that happened just after we left and we lost some of our ext family including 3 young girls

Why do people keep referring to the other Samoa as 'Western' Samoa? 'Western' is not part of the name anymore, and hasn't been so since 1997. It's just Samoa or the Independent State of Samoa. It's 2011 already and it's about time we get it right. Anyway, nice vid.
