@wrestletube1 As pointed out to me by other people the Megadrive is digital and this is analogue so it just wouldn't work. I have since sold this on eBay, oh well.
Mega-Drive games are expecting a digital input, while this obviously has an analogue input. This wheel probably works as a Mouse when plugged on an amiga.
Try playing any Amiga game that works only with a digital joystick using a mouse and you will have the same result.
You should get an Amiga CD32 or an A600 or A1200 with a CF drive packed with games and try it with some of the racing ones, they'll hook up to your TV and you can use your Mega Drive controllers with them too, although only buttons B and C work as buttons 1 and 2. I'm curious to know if that wheel can be used as a mouse in the Amiga's Workbench since I think it uses the same analogue signals.
@AmigaCammy Yes I would love to, but unfortunately I cannot bring myself to spend any money on anything gaming related other than the Megadrive, it is a sickness.
Such a shame. I think the reason it didn't work is coz it's analogue, where the Megadrive games are looking for digital inputs.
I remember reading reviews of them back in the day, which said they were "problematic." Much the same as playing Wii racing games with that wheel attachment for the Wiimote.
I must say, it gives me pride to see someone who has such a healthy respect for the often under-appreciated Sega Mega Drive/Genesis and all its offerings, for better or worse. I love and applaud your channel and reviews! Keep them coming!
@iamspider Hey, thanks very much for your kind words. As long as I can continue to obtain accessories I will keep them coming indeed. I see you have a great appreciation for the old video game tunes in your channel, much respect to you my good man.
What about the MS racing games on a Powerbase Converter on the Megadrive. Would it work on those 2 button games?

This thing would never work on a Mega-Drive.

@rafaellima83 Even in an amiga, it would only work with games that had support to analog controllers or mouse control.

@deegz01 Lucky I wasn't driving through the desert level or I would have been forced to drink my own pee (sausage water).
