It does not look like a stable ride. How does it ride no handed? I prefer a regular fork for safety sake. This seems very gimmicky. Least importantly: Aesthetically speaking, it is very ugly. It looks like you are riding half a bike. Can't believe some people swear by these. If it works for you, more power to you. Whatever makes you happy, I say. Wear your helmet!

@dsmashh - a very typical response from someone who #1 has no experience with them and #2 does not understand engineering - this system is superior to two legged forks in most respects that matter. They are stiffer, lighter and work better. The only two disadvantages I have found are: higher price and a bit more maintainance.

Why is everyone hating on this bike, this is a wonderful bike. But it comes with a heft price but a light weight, this bike is just as good as any other mountain bike. So stop hating because you cant afford one (although almost no one can lmao, including myself).

It's a great setup until it breaks! I bought one back in March and it's blown out on me four times since then. Two factory rebuilds and once buy a certified shop under warranty didn't fix it. I'm 160lb and don't do any technical riding, so I'm certainly not pushing it too hard. Dorel's customer service is as bad as their reputation (think WalMart bikes). I'm currently waiting on a replacement from Dorel, but it's been six weeks and still nothing. I recommend avoiding them and wish I had...

It's stiffer, lighter, and due to the needle bearings it tracks better than anything else.

I've ridden the best that RockShox and Fox have to offer, and the Lefty is better in every respect.

As for the Boxxer, isn't that a 200mm travel DH fork?

There's no equivalent Lefty, as they top out at 140mm of travel.
