Man, System of a Down is band that broke up in 2006, and they never get back togheter again. Because to Daron doesn't like Heavy System Sound anymore, and Serj is exploring another ways in the music and Shavo... i don't know what Shavo is doing now. But i hope one System will back togheter, not now because all are busy in they solo careers and i hope they prosper in that, But for now System of a Down is a band that i love so much and is on a permanent hiatus for me. Srry but is my point of view.

I suppose here's a list of bands that have broken up before and that currently are. Soundgarden, Alice In Chains, Nirvana, System of a Down, Scars on Broadway, Stone Temple Piolets, Incubus, and so many others. Only 2 of thsoe bands are done.

I weep at your impatience. SOAD is a GREAT band, yes, probably my favorite too, but these men aren't one entity. They are individual artists, and if they have visions they'd like to pursue on their own then I say more power to them; Serj's work has been AMAZING thus far, and Scars on Broadway is damn good as well if Daron would kick it in gear. At least it wasn't an angry hate-filled break up like most bands. They will get back together one day, just be patient and enjoy the solo work.
Well, even though I love 'em all, and especially Serj. I will stick by whatever projects he does if, I hate to say it, even if System never does come back (which seems so, unfortunately.) I know I don't know them personally but I'd at least would like to see just 1 more show, with all of them, in Los Angeles.

Serj Tankian dosent do his Death Growls in his Solo album and now he is not going for the Rock/Metal sound so now there is NO chance of it. Serj Tankian is a traitor to all SOAD fans!

It's been said several times over that they will eventually be getting back together. If that happens this year, great, if not then I'm really not too worried about it. I'll definitely be happy with a new Scars album this year if they decide to release a new one though.

THEY AINT COMIN BACK! daron decided to tour again with scars. And even if they would come back, i don't like them anymore. they make good music, but i only listened so i could learn the guitar. Now i discovered daron malakian is a horrible guitarist. AND NO, he's isn't the composer of the band he just writes the lyrics. Serj is like the leader of the composing.

Every song in a concert he plays half of the song with mistakes. You obviously don't know alot about guitars nor guitarists. I did hate the hypnotiz/mezmerize albums. It was a whole new soad, with a new style. I liked some of the songs, but i just couldn't stand the sound of the sg.

Daron did write most of the music and yes in mezmerise and hypnotize he hugely impacted the lyrics but early on it was SERJ on lyrics and DARON, with shavo on some songs, for music.
