Glad to see this, but none of the pieces appealed to me. The part I like best was your title and the fact it was in all caps, which I found to have a certain artistic quality which conveyed a message that I liked more than the pieces I saw.

nice video. art is very interesting. I am not a fan of modern art as I have trouble understanding the deeper meaning of it. But I thought Mickey Mouse was funny holding the skeleton. I hope that wasn't supposed to be the remains of Walt Disney.

The one with the records looked interesting, I would like to see it in person to get the full effect. The war ones by your mom's cousin were interesting too, the first seemed to me to show that there is a lot going on during battles. I'm not much of an art guy but it was nice to see what you showed us, thanks!

Art can be fairly intimidating, especially when direct feed back is solicited via Youtube platform of anonymity. I did appreciate this post however and your candid honest critique of what you did and did not enjoy. As far a Mickey, I do not agree withm but I interpret it as clear cut commentary on western society and possibly what ultimately will lead to the identification thereof.

I didn't care so much for the art, though I did like the Genetic Code. The hula was pretty disturbing, and so was the pooping woman. The things that captivate people can be a real eye-opener. To me, a lot of appreciating art requires one to experience it in person as you did, because some measure of the artists statement is held within the perception as seen up close.

@Annaconda1984 I took a wild guess at what you had to crop out, but I wouldn't have found that made a significant difference in my impression of how disturbing an image a barbed wire hula hoop on bare skin is. Actually for me it might have degraded the impact of it. In any case, we can all be thankful she wasn't also pooping.
