The only difference I can tell is that the replica in the video doesn't have anti glare on the crystal where the real one has antiglare inside and out. It's been a while since, I've seen a real one, I don't remember if it had a screw down crown or not.

I have this exact watch as well. I paid $7,600.00 and bought it from Carrazza's down in Fort Lauderdale about 2 years ago. I love the watch. If you take the real one and hold it side by side with a fake there is a huge difference.

If you do a little reading on the automatic movement used in this watch, it is a time tested movement that will function great for decades with minimal service. If it breaks, you get it serviced by a watch maker, same exact thing you would need to do with yours when it breaks, which it will at some point, all watches do.

She has a real Duetto Classique, and mine is a replica of the Reverso Squadra Chronograph. In terms of authenticity, you CAN not tell them apart. Of course, I did pay a hefty price for mine - but, no where near in the 5 digits.

I know this is a Hublot, but JLS's are way more expensive, and some replicas can be identical.

When you spend 10k+ on an Hublot, those parts are not worth that much money, everyone knows that, you're paying for the right to own a watch from the prestigious Hublot brand, that's what that 10k is for, not for the actual parts in the watch.

This watch isn't anything special for the Replica Hublots that are available on the market today. He doesn't know that the stainless steel part of the watch is called the CASE..(not the "outer area"). Like mentioned... the main flaws on this watch are the movement decals (should be engraved), Lack of Double Anti-Reflective coating, and sunken Datewheel. A better version of this replica can be had for about $450.. this version is around $250....

I can tell you some differences: Hublot normally alignes the screws outside the movement..Maybe the movement isn't in the same quality exept it uses the Jaquet 8144 calibre..its's sad we don't have a close look of the movement..I'm very intressed if it also has Perlated Platines..satinated, angleted and polished bridges and a rotor made of tungsten..Looks pretty close to the original.^^

A very interesting video - a couple of minor points though.

The early models did have black screws in the movement, along with a black deployment buckle. These were dropped in later models. The numbers you pointed out - only the bottom number is the serial number; the top number is the model number. The difference seems to be that on the genuine item the numbers are much bigger. Finally, the fake has Hublot Geneve across the top on the back, whereas the genuine model has Hublot Big bang.
