no one ever gives the tubas any credit,lol....we had a beautiful part at 0:42 though...i was fourth chair

Tru dat. Tubas - you were terrific, that's for sure. It's just that the trumpets often ruin the end of this piece, so I felt a particular need to compliment them. But the tubas do indeed deserve props!

Oh, we work together a couple of times a year in concerts at regions and all-states, so I know what he says about me. I just spoke to him on the phone and told him how much I liked what he did. This is the best trumpet section I have heard play this piece.
