I've done a review of the naga and also a test of the naga - terms of shape, not very comfortable and a bit small, all the buttons are superfluous in my opinion, tracking has issues with z-axis when lifting up and down

i own a naga and im very picky about my mouses i found the naga awesome never had any problems installing software and other instalments, performes great doesnt lag the if the naga is shit i dont know what a good mouse is. naga in my experience is very good.

@metal571 the new 4g ediotion came out with different tracking methods check it out but if u want reliable mouse try the g5 or check out the mionix im stuck between my own mouse (lol the g5) or getting the 4g imperator or getting the naos 5000

@qtopthisq mine developed a cord that had an intermittent connection after 2 1/2 years, i had the first edition, you probably had better luck cause you have the blue one with 2 side buttons, the SE. i asked for an mx518 in replacement and the right mouse button went double clicking after just 1 year so i switched to the deathadder and been happy since, hopefully it continues to serve well. i used to use a goliathus speed normal size but it wasnt big enough, won some massive xfire pad that i use

this mouse is not made for claw users... it's fingertip and palm... though palm may present itself as problematic but I think it's perfect size for fingertip... my mouse is the cheapest Logitech mouse and it is super small.. I game with it and it feels fine.. though it is getting old and jumps a lot now (sensor is probably messing up) so I need to change it...

@nikolalhs123 i would prefer the deathadder. Personally i like the scroll on the new razer products more, but the new DA should have the new scroll wheel as well. Usually, any hard mousepad should be good. I like the destructor to go with my deathadder personally
Naga is shit.. I think the Copperhead that is discontinued was better than the Naga... but I have an Imperator at the moment and it is awesome, especially for FPS games. You say that Razer mouses wear out quickly? I had my Copperhead for five years before I replaced it, and only because the plastic cord was coming unraveled.. I say Razer all the way. Or a reliable source where you can buy it for the cheapest price is off a guy called 99hk. you can find him just by searching 99hk on google. But with him you have to arrange a trade date / time, so it's just a little inconvenient. he also sells alot of other gaming stuff as well

I used DA but it died. Now G500. Am I the only one or is this laser sensor of the G500 too far forward in the mouse?! If you use some kind of fingergrip you can't use precise finger movements with the G500 because of this. For me this is a real big issue. Fingers are the most precise for head shots. With the G500 everything is down to ur polse movement.

Do you know if Razer has fixed the z axis problem where you lift the mouse and the cursor goes down left every time you pick it up? This is really important to me because I tend to lift my mouse a bit to make very drastic scrolls.

Imperator is a new mouse, - the Logitech MX1000 is the first laser mouse and I think mine is approx. 4 years old, so I'm afraid I'm missing out on something.
I think the camo effect on the G500 is ugly as hell, but I suppose that the mouse fits me perfect when I've been using its ancestor, the MX1000, for such a long time :)

@takasta well, i have big hands actually, but see big depends what way big, we all have diffrent palm styles, and i got big hand with long fingers, thats what i mean, this mouse is till small for me to grip with the palm, or i can do, but then i can't lift it, when playing fps it's most important to lift easily, i just used to small g9 before, couldnt get used to g500 over 2 weeks now, but quite impressed with the sensor, some headshots is unbelievble in cs 1.6..
@lay4life go for the ie3.0, i'm using that now currenlty as well. big mouse, nice to claw and lift. good size, offers good control as well. and is great for its price

I agree, Razer has 2 major problems which they either don't want to acknowledge or don't know about.
First is that rubber-like surface which is not built to last. It will wear out after max 2 years of heavy use.
Second are the sides of the mouse. That shiny plastic is just very uncomfortable... They use it on all of their mice... It gets dirty easily and also my hands tend to sweat on it more. All in all those sides are poorly implemented (compare to sides in Kinzu and Xai)

I like my DeathAdder for my FPS games and I also like my G5 for the rest of my games.
The only complain that I have on my DA is the sides. If your hand stated to sweat, it is kind of hard to hold the mouse.

i cant decide yet on what would i buy. wich is heavier? i dont like mouse that weight like a feather, i hate that. it seems this mouse razer ain't that heavy.

Daaamn still don't know if tu buy Imperator or G500 :( ... my MX518 is in trash so i want to buy new mouse. I like MX518 but i think i will look for something new, more modern. Someone here with experiences with both of theme mice?

Do you know if Razer has fixed the z axis problem where you lift the mouse and the cursor goes down left every time you pick it up? This is really important to me because I tend to lift my mouse a bit to make very drastic scrolls.

I'm considering to buy a new gaming mouse. My current one is a MX1000 :D .. so.. Time for a new mouse I guess.
I'm a FPS gamer with high sens.
The mice I'm looking at currently is: (1) Imperator. (2) G500 or Deathadder.
I'm going to play on a glass mat (Icemat) or I buy a new one which probably will be a Roccat Sota (can you recommend me one?)
Which mouse should I buy? :P
I'm very happy with my MX1000 after all these years.

@SwapyWhoopedazz imperator is 4 years old? - maybe there is a negative accleaterion problem, i just didn't really like the sensor on the imperator, don't know if that answers your question haha

Imperator is a new mouse, - the Logitech MX1000 is the first laser mouse and I think mine is approx. 4 years old, so I'm afraid I'm missing out on something.
I think the camo effect on the G500 is ugly as hell, but I suppose that the mouse fits me perfect when I've been using its ancestor, the MX1000, for such a long time :)
I just don't know if I should swap :)

@takasta well, i have big hands actually, but see big depends what way big, we all have diffrent palm styles, and i got big hand with long fingers, thats what i mean, this mouse is till small for me to grip with the palm, or i can do, but then i can't lift it, when playing fps it's most important to lift easily, i just used to small g9 before, couldnt get used to g500 over 2 weeks now, but quite impressed with the sensor, some headshots is unbelievble in cs 1.6..

@ashrocks87 the stuff on the g500 does wear off over long-term usage, as with any mouse. I switched back to the IE 3.0, that's all haha

I agree, Razer has 2 major problems which they either don't want to acknowledge or don't know about.
First is that rubber-like surface which is not built to last. It will wear out after max 2 years of heavy use.
Second are the sides of the mouse. That shiny plastic is just very uncomfortable... They use it on all of their mice... It gets dirty easily and also my hands tend to sweat on it more. All in all those sides are poorly implemented (compare to sides in Kinzu and Xai)
