  • hey I cone from welsh roots and british roots so fuck off cunt

  • So proud to be welsh - CYMRAES AM BYTH!!

  • wales is still in the uk you stpid nationalistic twats

  • @dbvc1 the welsh and cornish are the remaining cultures of the old britain....know your history....you really think UK is a democratic perfect enitity.....we still have a fucking monarchy for gods sakes how backwards is everyone

  • @dbvc1 sorry bud but UNIONISM is nationalism but just for another state.....its no sweet lovely idea of a connected world.....get your definitions right, welsh nationalism is nothing like other forms of nationalism, no ones died for modern welsh nationalism we are on moral high ground

  • @dbvc1 sorry i support unionism in the uk even if i am a catalan independentist but both are nationalism, as i suppose they can be proud of both.

  • @breizhcatalonia1993 unionism is pro english and the result of it has been the total decimation of the true british cultures of welsh and cornish

  • @adamjones416 Fair point made - won't argue with that! :)

  • Fair point made - won't argue with that! :)

  • It s the token Englishman there

  • i think that it is quite pathetic that people slag other countrys off when they can see it on youtube

  • cor!! another welsh cunt !!!!

  • @SALIMBRAY Yeah, making English pricks like you stand to attention.

  • @SALIMBRAY Oh no! Another cheese-eating, French surrender-monkey.

  • @SALIMBRAY Oh Christ! You're not really French are you?

  • like i said,Welsh cunts, never met one anygood. !!!! have you ever been occupied since the romans?what about your cowardly defeat at Dunkirk ? cunt !

  • @SALIMBRAY

Sober up and then post again.

  • @SALIMBRAY Nobody in their right mind would ever question the courage of the French. Nor the tactical brilliance of French commanders. But the French have a wretched record at strategy.

The opposite is true of the British, few great tactical generals, but we know how to fight a campaign.

In WW2, Dunkirk was driven by harsh reality, to us, that reality was France was lost. We didn't want it to be that way, but that was the way it was, and if we stood fast, then Britain was lost too.

  • like i said,Welsh cunts,never met one anygood. !!!!

  • Welsh cunts

  • @SALIMBRAY Shut the fuck up you French asshole. Go run away from the Germans again while Great Britain saves your shit stain on the map country.

  • @SALIMBRAY YOUR THE CUNT

  • the BRITISH GOVT. who the Welsh can vote for or not as they choose, carried out the policies that MESSIAR is whining about . It was the BRITISH who were supporting Welsh miners until Welsh mines were no longer profitable. Without the BRITISH there would not have been Welsh industry. It was not the English who took your lollipop away. Grow up and act like adults.

  • @breizcatalonia1993....did you say you were a Spanish dentist who works for himself?

  • @adamjones416.....that's because your country was not considered important enough to be included on the Union Jack

  • I'm so proud to be Welsh :)

  • What's that stupid Union Jack doing there? Wales isn't even on it, Burn that disgracefull rag!

  • @adamjones416 they are only trying to make friends with us !!

  • wales is part of the U>K>

  • @SCHRUBBE1966 As it currently stands in political terms yes, but lets weigh out the facts, the anthem (god save queen) the currency (Bank of England) The capital city London (England) The royal Family (English) The national Language (English) The national motto (Dieu et mon droit, as used by England) What's 'British' about the Uk? Its jst a greater Englishness rebranded to subdue over cultures, not the fault of the English but governments and its not right!, Independence for us all.

  • @adamjones416 Please learn how to write sentences that are grammatically correct, in particular, 'lets' - let's, 'god save queen' - God Save The Queen, 'The royal Family' - The Royal Family, 'The national Language' - the national language, 'Uk' - UK, 'Its' - It's, 'jst' - just 'over cultures' - don't understand this term, 'its' - it's. There is no need for capital letters after each pair of brackets.

Seldom use of commas when writing the list and no need for the comma after the word 'right!'

  • @cardiffborn1 it's youtube not an assignment, charachters are restriced and in order to fit all the points into the text box I abbreviated and also broke things down. Also English is not my first language it is infact my third and hence my grammar may be lacking in certain areas, however I can assure you my English is still a damn sight better than a general 50% of most English speakers, its the message im trying to convey not a piece of literature to be evaluated and condensed.

  • @adamjones416 The Royal Family is German, The Bank of England was founded by a Scotsman, Dieu et mon droit is French... what were you saying about it all being English?

  • @Suprahampton haha you've misunderstood my point, they are all those used and adopted as the English sense of nationhood,i.e Englands national motto was Dieu et mon droit, then it was adopted for Britain, Likewise with the currency, likewise with the royal family, likewise with the language. Its not their origins, that's irrelevant rather what they represent and that is England and a greater sense of Englishness imposed on the UK and branded 'British' WHICH IS IRONIC, as the Welsh were the Brits

  • @adamjones416 That flag is where you get you jobseekers allowance from, tosser...

  • @Damnblastify Wel considering Welsh people also payed taxes last time I checked and Im a student in Uni I suppose youre talking through your arse :) Nos da.

  • @adamjones416 I'd rather not have my tax pay for your education loans, little boy ... I'd happily see your country go it alone, hell, I'll re-dig Offa's Dyke if you like! Fucking twat. While you're at University, get them to teach you how to spell "well" and use punctuation. While you're at it, learn how to use tenses too... Stupid Welsh cunt...

  • @Damnblastify where do you pay my education loan? Welsh people pay taxes, Wales raises 24billion in tax revenue, some 49billion in GDP annually, yet our assemblies budget is only 15 billion? The subsadizing argument is all but a myth again fostered by unionist politicians to retain their dominance and influence rather than put the people's needs and aspirations first. Power is all a politician seeks, and you've been foolish enough to lap it all up like a big brown eyed cow :/

  • @adamjones416 You are sooo deluded! 49 billion? Are you real? England pulls in 1.8 trillion! Do you think you can pay for benefits, a national health service, a civil service, pensions, armed services, roads, police, ambulances, education on 49 billion! WOW, you are a tosser! I'll just go off and apply a bit more eye shadow to my big brown eyes!

  • @Damnblastify England also has a greater population and therefore greater needs, Wales smaller pop not so needy. Like I said we contribute some 60billion to the Uk treasury yet the assembly only receives 15 billion annually, this pays for education, health social services and other things, now if everything was devolved obvs the expenditure would be greater but by 45 billion? I think not, so where is that money going? Its not coming to Wales now isit? You talk through your backside.

  • @adamjones416 No! You said 24 billion in tax revenue 49 billion in GDP... You can't remember what you typed 10 mins ago! I do hope no-one gives you a degree! Like I said earlier, I hope you get to go alone, I will re-dig Offa's dyke! See how you go then you Welsh twat...

  • @Damnblastify boo hoo who gives a fuck about england

  • @Damnblastify p.s ure use of swear words only makes you look inferior and also immature against my misspelling of the word 'well'. English is your first language and you still seem to struggle with sourcing adequate vocabluary to convey your points, a great shame. English is my third and yet I still do not have to resort to such fowl language. I will be doing my degrees through the medium of Welsh and German, English is neither here no there for me in University.

  • @adamjones416 "nor" there... And you were doing sooo well ;-) I would sooo happily kick the crap out of you and then kick your tiny pathetic country into oblivion... People like you, you CUNT, are why I hate the Welsh xxx

  • @Damnblastify Oh dear here you go again :P playing hard man with the keyboard now you are hell of a boy, poor bewildered soul, and ooh surprise suprise the anti Welsh comments are comming out now. It says more though that you have come onto a Welsh video about the great national anthem of Wales, to pick a fight? Has England bored you that much? Pitty, never mind I'm sure you'll pull through your moronic sense of boredum and find a job or something :) good luck with that cariad xxxx

  • @adamjones416 lol you're a tiny lost boy and I made the anti-Welsh statements weeks ago! Honestly, fuck off! I want you out of the United Kingdom.... And there's no "u" in boredom caraidy ;-) xxx

  • @adamjones416 C'mon Welsh twat, where you gone?

  • @adamjones416 maybe one that first both welsh and british? ( and as i saw the results of the elections in wales most of the population in wales think like that?)

  • @breizhcatalonia1993 but the welsh are the true brits

  • @3tangle3 are you a british republic?

  • @breizhcatalonia1993 nope under a norman derived monarchy

  • @adamjones416

Os treisiodd y gelyn fy ngwlad dan ei droed,

Mae hen iaith y Cymry mor fyw ag erioed,

Ni luddiwyd yr awen gan erchyll law brad,

    Na thelyn berseiniol fy ngwlad.

  • whos the idiot with the corporate state flag plc. i.e. Union flag

  • whats with flying that shitty union flag...i love britain...but that modern flag represents everything i don;t stand for,,,,,,,greed and corruption...bought and sold for english gold ;)

  • I get such a lush feeling when I hear the anthem, it sweeps through me. Makes the hairs on my body stand up!

  • the england anthem is just a tube of 17th century, who was knew everywhere in europ. Lully had written that for louis xiv in paris (grand dieu sauve le roy). So this anthem have no originality. Welsh anthem is excellent.

  • @chrisbreizh29 That's not the English anthem, that's the British one. The English have no recognised anthem though there are possibilities (Jersualem, Land of Hope and Glory). Wales and Scotland have awesome anthems all of their own. I like the Welsh one best, makes me proud. And I'm not Welsh!

  • devil right corner 1:41

  • that union flag flown was designed by hanoverian germans as was the god save the queen tune...ignorance is bliss

  • Someday, Wales will be a free nation again. England, let Wales be Wales!

  • @pookerville Same with Scotland :) Independence lets vote out the unionist parties in the 2011 May elections

  • @ds010z5045 haha Dream on Mate :-)

  • @ds010z5045 this may sound unfair but even if i am a catalan independependentist i don't support the split of UK in four but:

If you decide to separate, let's do it , no problem :)

  • fuuuuuuckkkking weelllsh

  • @Nish8ish fuck off nathan you english fuck

  • This is gorgeous!

  • Moved to Wales recently... Proud to be here. FUCK ENGLAND!!!!

  • wales byw yn hir

  • TOSHACK OUT, DO YOUR COUNTRY A FAVOUR & RESIGN YOU CUNT, 6 YEARS OF TOTAL MISERY UNDER THAT USELESS TWAT

  • This video is about music and what better than such a beautiful and passionate statement it makes. It is by far one of the most emotive anthems in the world and the Welsh can be proud to have such a rousing piece of music such as He Wlad fy Nhadau. Who am I? A British subject who respects good quality when he sees or hears it and by God this is quality!

  • Why do people have to go on about hating each others nations. Why can't we all have some national pride, and in this case, enjoy one of the greatest and most beautiful national anthems in the world.

  • Wales is a beautiful place and from the visits I have had a friendly place to go also.

It’s great to remember your history from whatever your country, as it helps to prevent the same issues ever happening again. If we did not have theses bleak moments in history we would have nothing to learn from them. That’s not to say they should be used as a catalyst to promote hate, the information known should be used as a deterrent.

What a very nice song for a national anthem.

  • Much love from ireland :)

  • Is there anybody the English didn't fuck over?

  • I am Welsh. I do not hate the English. C'mon forget the past. This is NOW. WE HAVE A BEAUTIFUL LANGUAGE, THE OLDEST IN EUROPE, and it is growing in spite of the past. We have the Eisteddfodau where we celebrate our iove of poetry and music. Those from other places always praise our acceptance of them. We do not people from other places.

    Aled Owen

  • @ifuliki I'm quarter Welsh, quarter English, half Norwegian, brought up in wonderful Oxfordshire.

I agree all this silly immature chip on shoulder stuff is pretty childish.

I think the Basques would disagree about the oldest language though.

  • @WillOrng Yes, They might. They don't appear in history too much. There were early Celts in hungary in 1500 BC (The Urn people) and Gallic tribes (also Celts) burned Rome in 900BC. The Celts stretched from Scotland to Poland (Galicia)

and from the Iberian Peninsular (Galicia in Portugal ) to Turkey. Welsh is Celtic language related to the language spojken by Gauls when Caesar occupied what is now France. I should have said ONE OF THE OLDEST KNOWN LANGUAGES.I appreciate the correction. Aled

  • @WillOrng That is an excellent mixture of genes. I agree all these old hatreds are passe/. Let me see now. You are blond with blue eyes, have a beautiful voice, are wedded to the concept of democracy and are a devotee of the English countryside. Just kidding of course. .I am half and half, love to sing, am good at languages, love my garden and am very stubborn. I went to a school (next door) in Cambridgeshire, adore Shakespeare and am regarded as to be slightly eccentric.

    Aled.

  • @ifuliki Lol, you're welcome, that'd be my younger bro and sis you're talking about, me, I've got brown eyes and chestnut, white flecked hair, the voice has got a bit rusty the last few years, only one of my grandparents had the same, needless to say the Welsh one, my daughter's blue eyed but my son is brown, and their mother's grandparents were blue bar one who had one mixed eye and blue...genetics definitely isn't linear...democracy and land, ja vi elske det landet! Will

  • its exactly the same as if some people hate indians or chinese people its not eveyone. jees im welsh and tbh I just want all scousers moving into wales...such a waste of a language

  • if you know your history the welsh and the cornish men are the true English ,and thats a fact

  • If you want to find a true Brit, come to Wales. Enough said.

  • Im scottish and i totally agree.Beautiful anthem which is sung with so much passion.Been to Cardiff twice and i love the people and city.

  • The Welsh National Anthem is undoubtedly the best sung anthem in the world, loved and respected by everyone because of it's lovely words and the passion with which we proudly sing them.

  • My ancestors wrote this, and I learn welsh - Rydw i'n hoffi Cymru! So proud.

  • rydw i'n hoffi wales

    i like wales

  • Rydw i'n casau hi, mae hi'n trio rhi galed.

  • amazing

  • x ydy fy enw i

    i'm xxxx

  • god bless the welsh from the land of our fathers

  • Not only do we have Katherine Jenkins, but we have a culture & language to be proud of, wonderful scenery, fantastic resources, and of course a winning Rugby team. The only bad thing about living in Wales is the neighbours - they can be a bit chavy at times !

  • winning rugby team?

  • English and proud! lol

But I have to admit that you Welsh have a better anthem! And you have Katherine, which is unfair because she's so awesome =D

  • Comment removed

  • @proudtobeasarahfan

FWCKING SAIS ,BAWDAU I FYNU AM FOD YN GYMRO PUR!!!!

  • im welsh i can speak bothh

  • why do the welsh hate england so bad.

1- they flooded welsh villages so england could have water.

2- they used to punish welsh for speaking there own language.

3-they raped the welsh industry and took the mines away. the list could go on..

  • @MESSIAR

So sad but I think you should not hate its so strong. Im english and proud to live in wales and I aint proud of any englisman who shows hatred to anyone let alone the welsh. We aint all bad you know. I wish I coul heal the things you have mentioned but I cant. It was our forefathers not me or us. Please forgive the times gone by. wales is so beautiful and its people also.

    brummie65

  • @brummie65, wales is the perfect definition of a constuient country of UK , really beautiful land , proud of beautiful language but at the same time proud to be british , proud to be cymru am byth and proud to be british again.

  • @cmpFRANCE93 we were the orginal britons matey....non of this shitty modern version...which repress the welsh langyage and caned children for speaking it in school...get your facts straight

  • Up the Welsh.

Love from your celtic brothers across the sea

  • @Mcmotherfuckingrory try Youtube.......Dublin Welsh Male Voice Choir -- Amhran na bhFiann best wishes to the Emrald green isles !

  • @MESSIAR

And the English hate the Welsh too. When I was going over to Wales (one of my most favourite parts of the UK) for a little 4 day break, my English co-workers warned me not to go, because they hated the place and hated the people, and thought I was nuts wanting to go there. But as I have always found, Wales is a magnificent country and the people are wonderful. Such a pity that the UK is so full of hated and bias. (Maybe coming from New South Wales makes me like Wales so much!)

  • @Aussiemarco

My black friend from Glasgow (npwivxing in Canada) said when he went to live in Wales he felt comfortable as he never did in Glasgow. I live in Canada now and I wonder: does the BNP get much support among Welsh people.

    Aled

  • @ifuliki The answer is they get very little support here. In fact the EDL were hounded out of Cardiff recently. We do not want there kind of hate in our country

  • @keliarceohall Thanks for the answer. I am so happy to hear that and it makes me proud of my Welsh heritage

    Aled

  • @Aussiemarco

They are perhaps jealous or possibly untravelled. I heard an Englishman say that when he was in a Welsh pub the people were speaking Welsh just so he couldn't understand what they were saying. I heard Canadians complaining that the Quebeckers speak French to each other when he was around. Strange

Honi soit qui mal y pense.

    Aled

  • @ifuliki

English people have said the same to me word for word. They went into a Welsh pub and people were speaking Welsh just so they couldn't understand them. I went to south Wales again in July and people were speaking Welsh around me all the time. What's the problem, I ask. Its their country, their (very musical) language, let them go for it.

And the Gauls burnt Rome in 387 B.C. Rome was only founded in the late 700's B.C. (Just thought I'd drop that in.)

  • @MESSIAR I am sure not all Welsh hate England these days ,these terrible things were done but it`s a different world now .Wales is a fine country a wonderful part of the U.K . Katherine typifies its beauty in person and in song We Know the Welsh are rightly proud of her .

As Britons we all rejoice in her wonderful voice ,grace and beauty her bravery. Thanks Katherine for sharing these things with us all.

  • and the english piched hereford off us and oswesty they was in wales lol . love the vid

  • 4-.and part of england was wales till the borders changed ( wonder why ) lol and scotland .. seen braveheart ...

  • @MESSIAR Probably should've just given up early then and we wouldn't have fucked you up so bad...

  • Comment removed

  • @Damnblastify i got a lot of english freinds! and all them would like a national anthem for england and not some queen. think a lot of english people would rather sing about their heratage and their people and not one person..

  • @Damnblastify

Of course if we had given into the Nazis we would have not had so many Brits killed or so many cities bombed. Do you ever use your brain before you put your mouth into gear my friend. You still speak English and not German and the Welsh (a LOT of them) can still speak Welsh as well as English. Are there many like you where you live?

    Aled

  • @ifuliki We? Were you there at that time? The English (of course) didn't give in to the Nazis... Whereas the Welsh and Scotts (historically) allied themselves with any nation they could find in an effort to defeat us...

For sure, speak Welsh... Like I care... I am English and there are 50 million like me where I live.... Where do you live? Not Wales I'm guessing... Probably America? Stop shouting about how great you think the "Mother" country is and get back to it and support it... Tourist!

  • @Damnblastify oh, I forgot how during WWII Wales and Scotland sided with the Axis. How silly of me.

  • @babybreadcrumb Yeah you are, if you'd followed what I said you wouldn't have posted so incongruously! Fucking twat...

  • @Damnblastify then how come everyone is saying exactly the same thing that I am, with less sarcasm? Or was I supposed to read between the lines?

  • @babybreadcrumb this made me lol :')

  • @Damnblastify For Fuck Sake, Firstly the welsh have fought on englands side in every war since the fucking 13th century, i.e Agincourt, Crecy, Poitiers, Falkirk, Rourkes drift, 2 world wars and the Falklands, WE WERE THERE, the welsh & scots can say what the fuck they want about england, we've earned the right, perhaps if they english showed us the same loyalty as we've shown them, there would'nt be as much hatred towards you lot

  • @mikemanu01 He called me a tourist because I have an income and lifestyle here that I could never have had, had I stayed in UK and worked there in either , Wales or England. Don't they teach history in UK now or was that guy out to lunch. He's still out to lunch as far as I can see. Nah, maybe he just likes the attention. Praps he's just a kid. Yup, that must be it he's a lil kid. Is it still prohibitively expensive to buy company shares UK?

    Aled

  • @Damnblastify "The English (of course) didn't give in to the Nazis". You said that. KIt It shows a bad attitude.Winston Churchill was not PM of the English but PM of Great Britain. There were men from Welsh and Scottish regiments killed in the invasion of Europe which began the defeat of the Nazi tyrany. FYI I'm Anglo/Welsh Canadian born and raised in an English county. I never could have achieved what I did had I remained in Merry England. I did NOT name call; just revealed your error. Aled

  • @Damnblastify During the Anglo-Norman invasions of Wales, Welsh bowmen took a heavy toll on the invaders. From a news report of 7 years ago

the people of Monmouth sent 5,000 Welsh longbowmen to Agincourt, just as Henry V did more than 600 years ago. The Monmouth-born English monarch famously used the devastating power of his outnumbered Welsh archers to destroy a huge French army in 1415. That is history and OUR Shakespeare celebrated it in his great play. Read, digest and learn

    Aled

  • @Damnblastify If celebrities can have houses in two countries so can I. You are wrong about Wales being on the side of other countries. (Where is your evidence?)What about Agincourt? The Welsh saved your bacon Mr. Eglishman. (I am half English but not conflicted). A lot of young Welshman and Scotsmen gave their lives so that you don't have to speak German. Do theynot teach history in your part of England. Would you have willingly given up your Englishlanguage and rejoiced to hear 'Like I care' ?

  • @MESSIAR good

  • @MESSIAR I'm English and I agree

  • @MESSIA BASTARDS

  • @MESSIAR the English of 2011 are not responsible for that, so stop hating the English! I lived in Wales (Gwynedd & Anglesey) for 7 years, learnt the beautiful language and it has a place in my heart, but the only thing about it is the stupid bigotry and anti-English crap.

  • @98selitb I respect England as a country nowadays- it's one of the best in the world- but your past is unacceptable so don't try to deny your responsibility. I'm Irish and we feel exactly the same as the Welsh and Scottish do about the past. You are responsible, don't deny it, but I agree that people need to move on from hatred.

  • @Bonzostar

Every country has done bad things, and every country with more power has done more bad things. There are certain things Britain can be proud of and certain things that are better forgotten about. The same can be said for Ireland. I see no reason for British people to hang their heads in shame at their past - not least because we've probably done more good than bad.

  • @Bonzostar OK so if your great-great-grandfather was a murderer then you are also responsible for that and it is your fault and you deserve to be locked up. Hmmm interesting logic...

  • Respond to this video... Anyway we are all British, the same nationality, this is the United Kingdom.

  • @98selitb we are all human matey....the UK is a corporate human construct................the original meaning of the term british was brythonic.....the same language branch as the welsh and cornish........majority english have this ancestry but led to believe they anglo saxon and norman, the "we are all british" line doesnt mean anything noadays when we already know we are all one species....jesus lol

  • Great anthem. It's a shame that most Welshmen only speak English though. If I were Welsh and didn't speak the language, I'd put it on my list.

  • I'm Irish an can barely speak the language which is a disgrace.

I love the sound of Welsh and I think every true Welshman should be able to speak it.

  • the audience maybe welsh but about 90% dont know the lyrics the just shout out something that sounds like the anthem xDD

  • Cymru am byth!

  • What's 'My name is X' in Welsh??

  • "X ydw i"

  • Go raibh maith agat

  • gulp...

  • You know a welshman said to me once. WALES, the only country were you can have a mind blowing shag, a great hot pot, and a fantastic jumper, all from the same animal.

  • we shag em mate and you dirty fuckers eat em mmmmmm

  • @macktheknife888 I'm WELSH and I take great exception to your comment..

Only because I didn't get to say it first...heheheh!

  • Happy to put a smile on your face jimincairns. Have a good christmas, and if the cracker joke are crap which they always are, you will know what joke to say, hehehehe:)

  • welsh! NOT Brit! brits out!

  • I hope you are not referring to your cousins in Scotland who also dont want to be British!.I am just home from watching your team demolish us again at our national game and have not one bad word to say about the fine people of Wales.

    NO TEAM GB !!!!!!!!!!

  • There is always room for fellow Celts in Wales.

  • wow. maybe i appreciate it more because i am relatively new to this country but katherine can really sing this song. you welsh have a lot to be proud of

  • U're so blessed to have her singing the anthem

  • I decided to do the Welsh as the nation for a cultural anthropology report due at the end of the semester. I'm really excited about it! I had never heard the Welsh National Anthem until today, and it made me cry!

  • I love this anthem because it's a song of agreement amongst ourselves ("ninnau"). No God, no Queen, just us and our love for the land and our ancestors.

National anthems don't get much better than that.

  • Not sure about the "No God" bit, but the rest is spot on!! Long Live the Republic of Wales.

  • Jarvis, You're absolutely right! We should all bow down to bully boy tactics and concede. Except for one thing - Charles, Elizabeth and whoever you like, the spirit lives on and we, in Wales, have more balls than countries 10 times our size, regardless of who has squashed us militarily. Just ask the Poles! Another gutsy nation!!! The Republic will come when people refuse to be brainwashed. Cymru am byth

  • She has a beautiful voice. I am not a bit Welsh that I know of, but I really enjoyed listening to this song.

  • being half English and half Welsh i feel privileged and honoured. I am part of two great nations. I love them both equally. God bless England and Wales.

  • finally somebody who feels that way! i was coming on here expecting to find anti-english comments but you've summed up what britain should be about. two unique cultures that are both separate yet linked together

  • Well I feel like that I am both English and Welsh and I love my Welsh heritage but I love being English also - yes indeed a slightly unhappy marriage but we should stick together -most Welsh people feel that I know for a fact - let us have our language (we got that anyhow) and then we can all kiss (my parents did - one Welsh one English)

  • Welsh & Proud

  • dinesydd o gymru... dim prydain

  • Devolution is good, especially for England, but keep the UK united because it is too awesome.

  • Wales should be independent so as Scotland and North Ireland unified with South

  • National Anthem...... I thought that..neevver mind bach.. Ewe get on and doo whas right then ..

  • proud to be welsh Cymru am byth!!!!!!!!! i love hen wlad fy nhadau so much is the best anthem i ever heared (Newport)

  • I've only ever been in Wales once and the accent is fantastic as is Katherine Jenkins voice and look. Great stuff

  • i aint welsh but i went to a now closed welsh girls school,i am just going into my 2nd year ofsenior school

but i am amazingly proud to say i was part of somthing amazing
