GTX 560 Ti is good Graphics card i bay it 1 year ago, and i can still play on hight or ultra resolution, the price is jump only for 20 £ down .... i am very happy with her NVIDIA !!!!

@Phantomshik Neither are good enough.if you want it to be future proof get an msi 560ti 2gb.It overclocks well and has more then enough memory for anything.

Make sure to pair it with a fast cpu like the i5 2500k and 8gb 1600mhz memory on a mobo that supports sli for further future proofing.

clocked the ghz to 3.0ghz and its still going strong buddy i can max out any game out there with a solid 55-60 FPS :P

@rk3yb0arD Uhh what are you talking about? Was it my recomendation of the i5 2500k? If so then notice how I told him to buy a mobo that supports sli for future proofing?He'll need a strong cpu to back an sli rig.

I doubt your old q6600 could feed enough info to a 560ti 2gb sli system in for example bf3.

@rk3yb0arD Yes,one :) We're talking about two here.Twice the amount of processing power required to fully load them.In cpu intensive games like shogun 2,metro,bf3 etc.your cpu wouldn't be enough for sure.

Overclocking the fsb doesn't give you the architectural benefits.The sandy architecture is much faster clock for clock then your old core 2 quad.

@don2xify u don't hear the fans :) its not stable on 1ghz, in same games and programs it crashes.

@streetplayer1987 is the card using an aftermarket cooler or the reference one?If it uses an aftermarker u could pump up the volts in order to achieve faster speeds while keeping the card stable

ovrclocking to 1 ghz is no problem, even WITHOUT voltage tweaking, and its the most silent version of the gtx 560 ti

How is the 560 Ti when editing in sony vegas? I'm planning on using dual monitors both 23 inch 1920x1080 and I wanna know if I could use 1 monitor to view the video in full quality then use vegas on the other, would it be able to handle this, also 2600k is the proc i'll be running.

@tammelol Just thought I should let you know that as far as gaming is concerned, a 2600k is totally unnecessary! 2600ks are only useful if you're doing heavy video or image editing - In gaming the difference between the 2500k and the 2600k is negligible. Spend that extra hundred on a better graphics card instead!

forget the 1 gb... belive me. I had a 560 ti oc 1GB. the ratings are quite good but 1GB is not enough for new Games... BF3 Extreme-settings: When a nate blows up while you´re firing a RPG the Srceen freezes and when you look in the sun and move your mouse quik the frame-rate goes down to 20 FPS for a few sec.

take something with 2GB min.

I prefer the 570 with 2.5 GB 100€ over the 560ti oc and few times better
