That's the idea I was having some 3 years already. Make 10cm of the cable come out by using 4 connectors. So I can take always that 10cm cable with me. And also put a cell phone inside the bike so that they can locate your bike through that cell phone. Just have to think about if I can put a charger there, so the phone will never turn off, but question is, if it won't be bad for the battery.

The steering lock of a bike can be broken really easilly! You kick the left handle bar hard enough you can snap the steering lock.. brake disk locks? Equally as easy.. yeh u could possibly break the disks but hey.. 3 new disks cost a bit less than a new bike!
