Good video, but do not follow 0:44 tip on how to depressurise the system. There should be a valve along the common rail in the engine bay - depressurise the fuel line from there if you can. Have not read all previous comments, so I hope someone has already mentioned this.

Thank you. I just changed my fuel for the first time. It looked easy and I had bought it earlier, but want to check something so I watched this. Mine was even easier. Two plastic clips and a hose clamp. All I needed was a flat head screw driver.

Thanks for this video Mark. I have a suburban that has the same exact setup. The question I have is with the "outlet" stamped on the filter itself. I think in this video you are saying that the fuel line from the tank is the outlet line and that it screws into the "inlet" end of the filter. The "outlet stamped side of the filter faces the engine and connects to the "inlet" line from the engine. Is this correct?

I believe you will have to remove the fuel filter and release the fuel pressure by attempting to start the car. Once that's complete then you can remove the fuel filter with ease.
