  • I was there, my first Festival, Was talking to Cathy at a stall, never knew who she was, I was too wide eyed! She has a voice and a half. I didn't search for this, it was in someone elses collection. I was in the crowd, been dancing, and drinking wine and had some japanese Tempura and I thought I was in heaven! We went back to our tents, some sang, played tunes and it was amazing. It was the day I became a vegetarian, -now 44, and older, I miss my younger self! Cheers for posting this. Memories!

  • I played this at my dads funeral, he chose, we found a envelope witha list of songs, this one, salt of the earth and the chelsea theme. i never heard of it before, now i play it regualry, on days like this, it will also be played for me when the time comes. CLASSIC SONG

  • I was in the audience. I was only 9 at the time, but I can remember it as if it was yesterday. Fantastic times at Cropredy. Must make the effort to get back there some day.

  • The great and much missed Jonah.

    Thanks.

  • this sublime clip deserves more than one comment. thanks for putting it up.

  • Wow, this version is sooo good. Richard Thompson's guitar is the best in the universe, perhaps only challenged by Neil Young.
