This is NOT THE GREATEST WAX for black cars.l did my f350 truck it took forever to do it and looked awesome at first.Next time i washed my vehicle i had swirl marks and scratches from this wax.lm so pissed off i need a proffesional detailer to fix TURTLE WAXES FAULT.

The turtle wax didn't swirl your paint, you did when you applied it using improper media and/or technique.

I would really like to tell you if that is your car you really impressed me, i dont know many girls who take as good care of thei cars as obviously you do just hope you put the same effort into maintaining the car performance-wise since a clean car that doesnt work because of lack of maintainance is no good but if you are doing that you really impressed me because your car is beautyful i reall envy you take good care of it

Turtle sucks. Use meguiars or mothers if you want great stuff that you can get locally or if youre willing to do some online searching and if youre willing to spend a little extra money, use pinnacle and wolfgang products. turtle and armor all suck major

I agree, Turtle Wax and Armor All are not too good for waxes. However, from personal experience, this black box wax actually works and is in short words, amazing! Once you finish using it, you can barely see any scratches on the paint. However, this is only to be used on black cars cause the wax itself is black. The shine lasts for months, but it does require some work as it took me around 4-5 hours of washing and waxing with a buffer.

its the best product you can use on a black car without paying 60-70 + for Zaino or adams polish. now nothing can match Zaino but there is a reason there whole kit will cost you a 100+ bucks. Adams is more for orbital Buffers.

I've tried it a couple of times once on my older Peugeot 407 & the other on my newer Lexus GS & thats after polishing , clay baring & the whole deal am sure there are way better products ..but still I do believe in work with what makes ya happy

dont bother with this, with the amount of time and effort it takes u can use a good polish followed by a wax/glaze.

@specialsenna It does take a LOT of time. And if you haven't kept up your car, you'll need to clay bar before you even start the process. This happens to be a hobby though, so I didn't mind the amount of time/effort.

@1ntegress yeah i did clay bar it prior to starting it. It does work but if you use autoglym resin followed by its HD wax or a good glaze you get a better and more lasting affect.

Go onto detailingworld.co.uk and they did a comprehensive test and autoglym resin came first for haand applied polish.

Have bought the meguiars machine polisher but not had a chance to use it.

@specialsenna Oooh, I've never heard of Autoglym Resin. I'll take a look-- I definitely want something with a lasting effect.

I'll be buying the Porter cable dual action polisher soon-- the one speed orbital buffer I use now isn't cuttin it anymore ;(

Seksi lookin' IS!! Is Black Box that good? Honestly now!? I know Lexus has one of the best finishes from the factory, did it really make a difference? I had the Black Box in my hand @ Oreilly's( OOps that didn't come out right! :0)) I was so close to buying it but I thought I'd ask you first.

Also, where did you get your yellow fogs? They look cool as well! Do you know if they make them for Benz?

@denysimo Thanks ^_^ Black Box does work pretty well. It won't remove all scratches, obviously, and as you can see, it takes a LOT of work, but it did leave a nice finish and it did remove a lot of the hairline swirls and scratches. I cover my car daily though, so I'm sure that doesn't help with the hairline scratches >_< hehe

Thanks :) It is lowered on Tein S Techs, and the ride is awesome. Minimal rubbing in the front, but that is because I have 19s with fat tires (Soon to be changed) :)
