Britain is a country made up of 3 smaller countries (if you don't count Northern Ireland... I'm not sure if it is still in Britain (if it is Britain would be 4 countries)) called Scotland, England and Wales.

Many Scots, Welsh and Irish find it insulting when you refer to Britain as England.

Never one to rise to the defense of George W. Bush, but Wales (Swansea too) is a town in Massachusetts... As a child, I asked my father where our family came from, he said Wales, but in those days it was impossible to find Wales on a map or globe. The best my sister and I could find was "New South Wales." Nice to see that Wales has a higher profile but it wasn't so very long ago when it was considered "just a part of England."
