  • 0:15 - 0:18 those 3 notes you made sounds like from another galaxy. absolutely blowmind!

  • @PissoDeStrisso

    thanks!

  • I'm a musician of myself. I sung it, I arranged it, I played it on guitar, on piano, on the saxophone and tried to make this great song to my own. But this interpretation is really great! Acclamations! I'm not in the state to do this with my instruments. I know what I'm talking about. Thank you, great stuff. Chapeau!

  • @TheSaxaline

    Merci!

  • I was trying to learn this song and stumbled upon your instrumental version....I LOVE it! I was turned on to this song by the Johnny A. version. I love the harmonics that give the song it's character....really enjoyed listening to this, now I'm off to check our more of your music!

  • @guitarkis49

    thanks

  • Troubleclef brings out the sheer beauty of the compositions he plays. Just amazing.

  • Wow! I can't decide if I want to try and learn what you did or simply listen and appreciate the cool arrangement and your stellar performance... I didn't even know six strings could make this many concurrent sounds! I am DEFINITELY a fan!

  • Comment removed

  • you are a wonder full guitar man.Great

  • BEAUTIFUL! GREAT!!!!!

  • As a Beatles' fan (1st generation) Wow! That's all I want to say.

  • This is great as always for all of your work...

    Ciao !!!!

    Modesto

  • Thanks man!

  • Thank you for posting that. It was a very sophisticated, professional version of a great Beatles song. The harmonics were a very cool addition too.

  • thanks!

  • Great job! I love the way you use the harmonics in the song.

  • Youre very talented. You make your guitar sing. Sounds like new strings, so brilliant sounding. I would love to have the chords or tabs for this, as Im jsut trying to get back into guitar after a many year hiatus. Krishna is the ability in man - Bhagavad Gita 7.8

  • this makes me feel relaxed

  • You are amazing It made me cry I did miss my gf :(( thank you bravoooo!!!!!!!!!

  • Amazing! Love the harmonics you found too - well done!

But please could you do a film without the lag, as I can't follow the chord changes and picking patterns? Maybe you should talk us through this great version of a beautiful song?!

    Thanks for posting!

  • That was so beautiful!

  • This Beatles song has one of the most haunting chord changes in their canon: when the chord changes from a B7 (the end of "Remember what I said tonight") to C#m ("For red is the colour that my baby wore"). (I think those are the chords, anyway.) But the Beatles' vocal harmonies on the record cover up what a great hook that is. I think the demo of John singing solo captures the chord change and sounds better than the finished track. This vid does that too. Thanks.

  • Beautiful.

  • I like that!

  • Instantly, my favorite..Keep up the good work.

  • bravo! magnifico! thanks

  • I came on Youtube to watch another video, but I stumbled across one of your other videos. I love The Beatles. I've been through your channel. Now I can't even remember the video that I wanted to watch in the first place!

  • your vidoez are sick!

  • hermano usted es un heroe de la guitarra

  • Would you like to be in my rock band?

  • this guy rocks!!!

  • very nice ...I love how you tackle the more obscure Beatle tracks.

  • cuando se grande quiero ser asi.pdhaymillenguajes en el mundo.

  • man from sweet to to much all Ive never forgotten all my friends

  • I again have just revisitied this song - done better than the original. I must say again that you are the best guitarist I've heard.

  • well it's certainly not better (and how could it be?) but i do appreciate

  • As Simon Cowell from American Idol always says; "You've taken it and made it your own".

  • "Simon says" Who cares what Simon Cowell says? LOL

On a serious note, your vids have embedding disabled by request...is this intentional? I'm sure your have your reason(s), I'd love to share this (and others) via my Face Book page....I am amazed and utterly humbled by your talent and your interpretations of great songs and I'd love to turn my friends and acquaintances on to what you do....

  • i turned it back on. try again. thanks

  • wonderful version and brings back memories. i have a challenge for you and i'm not sure it can be done. why don't you try ''as tears go by'' by the stones/marianne faithful. this song has both a nice acoustic line and great vocals/lyrics. i know you can work miracles and if anyone could pull it off, you could.

you've become somewhat of a cause celebre' in a positiive sense. keep up the good work.

  • yeah, that would be a nice song to do in a classical style since the arrangement is already pretty classical. i think it would work well. I'll have to check into it.

  • just revisited this video, saw it 'bout a year ago for the first time, just a beautiful rendition of this song. I tried to learn this, I feel like a total "hack" after listening to you play. You inspire me to try to get better. by far the best guitar on you tube, you're the man TC

  • You have talent buddy.

  • if you think this one was something, type in ''you're gonna' loose that girl'' beatles to get a good idea of the tune and into the mood then go to ''you're gonna' loose that girl'' by troubleclef. what you'll hear is phenomenal. he singlehandedly plays the vocals, rhythm and lead guitars simultaneously. it is nothing short of amazing.

remember, play the beatles' version first.

  • He does that on all the Beatles stuff... amazing... he captures the whole dang song... all the parts... so much fun to listen to his stuff...

  • awesome playing bro you took this song to the next level.

  • I believe you could probably find a publisher willing to partner you with a transcriber to publish a book of your arrangements. Have you ever considered pursuing that? I know I would buy one.

  • I have been enjoying this for months now. Thank you troubleclef for sharing your amazing talent.

  • wow you have inspired me...

wonderful thats all i can say

  • Amazing.. so beautiful..

  • Bravo!

    Profi. 10 stars!

  • stiill blows me away

  • Absolutely beautiful. "Yes It Is" was always one of my favorite Beatles songs but their recording of it wasn't particularly good. Yours rendition really does this wonderful song justice. Well done.

  • Out of all the Beatle tunes you have on here..which one would you say is the least difficult [if any] to play?

  • hmmm., probably Penny Lane as it doesn't involve trying to play the melody -- then Chet's arrangement of "for no one"

  • right on, thanks. yeah i was checking all them out cause I'd really like to learn one and really get it down, at least a little and perfect it as good as yours over time of course. My favorite by far is "You're going to lose that girl." that one I believe will get me laid.

  • Amazing

  • Wonderful!...I can almost hear Lennon's voice in his fingers...

  • Wow That's all i've got to say. you know this martin it small sized body but it doesn't sound like it

  • dude, your playing is sweet. when things are a bit crazy, i pop on one of your clips and everything is right again. seriously. you got some great chops and great taste. thank you so much for sharing with the world.

  • My fave Fab song....I really underestimated the mahogany model from this line. Another 5 star. This will be one of only three music faves on my list. 'Scuse me while I go out back and toss my guitar into the fire pit....

  • The more I listen to your stuff, the more I love it!! Amazing! :)

  • i want to learn to play this so so bad. could someone atleast tell me where the harmonics are

  • Coming from a fellow musician, that was beautiful! Great harmonics. Thanks for sharing.

  • I Like the way you play those harmonics with your picking fingers..Kewl....(.One of my favorite songs).....Have you ever heard the anthology version..John is making up words..Funny.how songs become songs!!..You Rock Dude..JRingo

  • I don't think i've heard the other version. i really ought plunk down for that anthology at some point. Thanks!

  • Maybe not..you Might be disapointed at how Raw some of the songs are,but hey then again.Look what happened in the final mix?..JRingo

  • No way. The anthology series is fantastic, all three series (especially 2 & 3).

  • The versions on there are really good. Forget the bit about raw.

  • What i mean about raw is the initial vision of the song..and Dude the versions on the Anthology series are those visions..Christ you know it ain't easy!!!JRingo..LOL

  • I'm with guitarman - I love raw beatles. Sort of leaves their genius exposed a bit. Oh, I can't explain - because it doesn't all work all of the time, you can pin point the magic being formed.

This is beautiful. Great melody (pure Beatles!)- beautifully done - great sensitivity.

  • fake

  • AMAZING! THANKS FOR THAT!

  • nossa muito bonito!

você toca muito! essa música é linda

  • When John first put down this song..(Anthology).it sucked..Out of key..no good lyrics, but looked what happened..Troubleclef..you're rendition was awesum. If i had a bottle of Scotch and a Gun,it would be all over!!JRingo
