Jim James is probably the best thing I have ever heard. MMJ has morphed my music focus to some sort of deep obsession, and the indie/folk rock is all I can listen to nowadays.

This is probably top 5 for me. Steam Engine is my favorite.

I just discovered this band, thought they where from the 70's or 60's but amazingly they are relatively new, late 90's. Their rhymes and deep sound are exquisite. You see, in west Texas, believe it or not, radio stations do not use to program this type of tunes. Thanks PBS for letting me know about them.
