  • All this righteous indignation - but you copped a plea!

    FUNNY!

JB the evidence against you was strong -- you did it, you know you did it, so you pleaded no contest and took the prosecution's offer.

You did the smart thing to keep your children's father from going to prison.

Face up to the fact that you are guilty of check fraud - the evidence was crystal clear - do what you must do for punishment, and get on your with your life.

  • never talk to the police. Never let them in your house without a warrent..

Anything you say WILL be used against you.

  • October 13th- hmmm...Fatima 1917.

Did you.. choose ...that day on purpose?

  • I'm still reading your posts.

I'd also like to read (unrelated) "letter to the editor of Trentons most popular newspaper". But I guess you have a lot on your hands right now.

I'm sorry for your situation. I hope it all works out well.

    Peace be with you.

  • Hey, keep standing strong and be mad about this. I understand you support your country and local authorities, but they need to hear about this.

I am a divorced father of two daughters and I know first hand about government interference of those people MOST PRECIOUS to you.

Fathers have rights and the government should step in at the very LAST resort.

  • BTW, offer up your suffering in union with Christs suffering on the cross for the conversion of sinners. Particularity pray for those who are persecuting you. God Bless

  • Good heavens Paleo! I just read your blog account of what happened, what a terrifying ordeal you have been going through! You are doing the right thing by pleading not guilty, I will pray through the intercession of Archangel Michael that the scales of justice weigh abundantly in your favor.

I seriously no longer recognize this country.

  • That is horrible. Is there more? That seems to have stopped all of a sudden, like there's more. I will try and remmeber to keep you in my prayers.

  • I hope you find a good lawyer, if you have not already, and pray to St. Thomas More. Or are you representing yourself?

  • I have an excellent lawyer. He is not a "public defender." My first lawyer was. Quickly learned that was not at all beneficial for me.

St. Thomas More has been frequently invoked. Christ the King Sovereign, Our Lady, St. Michael the Archangel and many others have been saluted almost without stop. Pray! Then pray more.

  • Try just praying to God. He's the one who's listening, and He's the one with the power to do something about it! - Your loving brother in Christ.

  • Not in the mood for a debate over the dogma of the communion of saints. But suffice it to say that asking for the prayers of God's closest friends, some who gave their lives for him, and one who gave life to him, is something any faithful Catholic shouldn't be ashamed of. I pray to God. I ask the saints to pray for me. Big difference.

  • Yes. I am uploading the second portion right now. It deals with the Battle Creek Police, the Calhoun County Sheriff's Department, and Child Protective Services. It should be public shortly.

Please spread the word. Favorite! Share! Tweet! Blog! And most importantly, pray for my family.

  • You know I think shows like Law and Order feed this mentality,as well. I used to like this show and perhaps you do, but I realise that they really emphasise this idea that the cops and DA are always right, can violate due process to catch the bad guy, and are always offering plea bargins like everyone is surely guilty. I am not saying plea bargins cannot be used, but it's as if the DA is some infalliable barginer who in his virtue is offering you the "offer you can't refuse".

  • Law & Order, CSI, and a host of shows and movies romanticize law enforcement. The same is true with the military.

Speedy trials are a safeguard for defendants. This has been going on for over 6 months! Get rid of speedy trials, and you are made to feel as if you are being given an "offer you can't refuse." But guilty pleas are for guilty people. Period.

  • welcome to the war. don't trust your lawyer, they have a vested interest in maintaining the racket. there is a reason law societies have made the law so complicated a common citizen can't understand it...

  • It is a war! It is an "us vs. them" scenario. "They" know it. The public is generally clueless. Worse yet, they have fallen for the romanticized version of so-called journalists and law enforcement as it is portrayed by media.

  • i'm in canada, where there's a whole part of the constitution they teach you to ignore. it's the Canadian bill of rights. it's the one that says, "The Parliament of Canada, affirming that the Canadian Nation is founded upon principles that acknowledge the supremacy of God, the dignity and worth of the human person and the position of the family in a society of free men and free institutions..." my lawyer tried to tell me that it was obsolete. i showed him my google search and fired him in court!
