I believe Doctor Who used to use the technique of filming its own projection in their introductions. That was many decades ago though, when special effects were as good as the people who could control the effects without a computer.
The magician Blain - I think that's his last name - did the levitating trick on the streets. So, you basically stole that from him. There was absolutely nothing special about the "use the force" tricks. But thanks for the feedback video. I liked that one and may give it a try sometime.
Lift yourself up with ball of the foot that can't be seen by your audience, keeping the foot that's showing straight, as if it were still on the floor. Hold for a few seconds and ease down again.
Depending on your specific software of choice, you should be able to reverse the footage in any number of editing programs that are available. This is not performed until you reach the post-production phase (editing), but is relatively simple to accomplish.
great episode idea, i didnt understand how the image was not projected on the actor as they were standing infront of it? was the person green screened in?
For the jedi powers part you should remember to export the audio of when the effect is used and reverse it and line it up with the video to give it a realistic sound.
You guys should also add a link in your video description to your site ( in every video) .
The projected image was in-fact projected onto me, but I made sure that I had the projector at about knee height (2') high. This enabled me to film a Medium Shot (waist to head) of myself and not show the projected image reflecting off my pants. No Green screen was used in this video, but it would be easy to perform a green screen effect in a similar fashion.
im a new youtuber... would you guys mind checking me out and tell me how im doin?
CheaseForTheMasses 1 year ago

1) To levitate like this guy you MUST live in Tibet;
2) eat only Carnengell's Lettuce two weeks prior to this;
3) walk the rice paper without tear or mark it.

Great video. I loved the effects. Keep up the good work.
One question, when loading your video to your computer, do you need any special software to make the video run in reverse?
