  • im a new youtuber... would you guys mind checking me out and tell me how im doin?

  • for the projection loop i would set up a rear screen projection to advoid shadows

  • I believe Doctor Who used to use the technique of filming its own projection in their introductions. That was many decades ago though, when special effects were as good as the people who could control the effects without a computer.

  • check out my jumping effect. I did it by reversing the clip. youtube.com/user/brockray

  • Awesome, Thank You!!!!!!!!

  • What editing software do you use?

  • the music is defintley not necesary

  • connect the camera with your tv and u can do that to...

  • Warum wird diese iMove Musik so oft verwendet?

  • I still didnt get the levitating thing

  • nvm i figured it out

  • sony vegas is beast :D

  • Cool effects, but this guy sucks. The first time he's not behind the camera.

  • ahhh the "jedi force trick"

charlie chaplain did it that way, didn't he?

  • even though i use it,WMM sucks hard.

are there any other relativley cheap or free movie programs out there?

i don't mind paying a lot,but i need to buy a LOT of other stuff.

  • use avs video editor 4, its free and excellent, but that might just be the trial

  • @Vault101Reject i use wax 2.0 which is free but its not a good a after effects or pinnacle

  • you can do the force effect with lsmaker. just import the videos in reverse

  • can u do the force thing with windows movie maker?

  • no u need something like final cut pro of adobe preimere pro

  • yes adobe premiere pro final cut or pinnacle which is the cheapest

  • 1) To levitate like this guy you MUST live in Tibet;

    2) eat only Carnengell's Lettuce two weeks prior to this;

    3) walk the rice paper without tear or mark it.

  • AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • this is cooooooool

  • The magician Blain - I think that's his last name - did the levitating trick on the streets. So, you basically stole that from him. There was absolutely nothing special about the "use the force" tricks. But thanks for the feedback video. I liked that one and may give it a try sometime.

  • great effects

  • I didn't quite understand how to levitate, can some one explain it an and easier form

  • hah...thats very simple...

    Its called balducci levitation...

watch it again you'll get it i am sure..

  • Lift yourself up with ball of the foot that can't be seen by your audience, keeping the foot that's showing straight, as if it were still on the floor. Hold for a few seconds and ease down again.

  • Thanks

  • i still didnt get it XD

  • awesome video

  • happy news years

like a effets it's possible learning to,because have many little movie on my mobile & pda i need help

  • Great video. I loved the effects. Keep up the good work.

One question, when loading your video to your computer, do you need any special software to make the video run in reverse?

    Otis Collier

  • Depending on your specific software of choice, you should be able to reverse the footage in any number of editing programs that are available. This is not performed until you reach the post-production phase (editing), but is relatively simple to accomplish.

  • great episode idea, i didnt understand how the image was not projected on the actor as they were standing infront of it? was the person green screened in?

For the jedi powers part you should remember to export the audio of when the effect is used and reverse it and line it up with the video to give it a realistic sound.

You guys should also add a link in your video description to your site ( in every video) .

I dont know why ive never visited it.

    thanks

    SanitySource

  • The projected image was in-fact projected onto me, but I made sure that I had the projector at about knee height (2') high. This enabled me to film a Medium Shot (waist to head) of myself and not show the projected image reflecting off my pants. No Green screen was used in this video, but it would be easy to perform a green screen effect in a similar fashion.

  • @SanitySource the projector was positioned higher or lower than the actor

  • If you look at the Presets music video "My People" they use the feedback effect.

  • Haha I love that levitation effect.

I do it all the time and some people still don't know how to do it x]

  • great tips

  • cool - but that levitation effect isn't very original!

it's the balducci effect - you can check it out on MY channel!
