I'm kinda mixed, seems Mick Ralphs toured with Dave, then toured with Roger. Maybe for the sake of the music/fans a decision was made but I doubt it. And oh, Doyle and Ralphs play a great alt solo. Ralphs kinda sucks , the thing he did to Brian Howe and I just favor Gilmour over Waters, I think it's a guitar thing, but maybe integrity.

I was actually able to meet Doyle for the first time at Glenwood Studios in LA while recording the new Taylor Hicks album. He was one of the guest studio musicians. A very quiet dude, but super kind. I enjoyed getting to know him. Very talented, i agree with the other comment about how he sould be a more recognized musician. I don't think that is what Doyle is after, recognition. I think he is just after chasing his love for music.

I've heard quite a few of Doyle's solos, seen him play live and talk to him personally quite often.

He is one of the kindest, most giftet and welcoming people I have ever met.

God bless this man who gives so much but recieves too little recognition. He should be on the top 10 guitar players of the world, for sure.

Snowy White is incredible, for me the man with the right feeling in the solo, Doyle even very powerful, what a great smart team together, you can really emphasize with them. And Dave is not missing.

Wrong. He only played a little guitar interlude thing after Pigs on the Wing on the 8-track version. He didn't play anywhere else on the album. If you have any other version besides the 8-track, you don't hear anything from him. Don't spread BS

I was at this concert, within 20 feet of where this video appears to have been filmed, it was an unbelievable show. I'll never forget it. But I have to say, it's funny that it takes 2 phenominal guitarists like Doyle and Snowy White to play a solo that Gilmour plays by himself and so much better.

Thanks for sharing this. To me, Doyle is the best guitarist in the world. Some might argue that maybe "Clapton is God", but Doyle is like nobody else. I like how at the beginning of the video Doyle is adjusts a pedal and then rushes to the amp. This version of comfotably numb is way different than the one on the Roger Waters "In The Flesh" DVD; never heard this version before. Thanks and keep on posting videos like this.
