Nena (with band) was the greatest band in the 80's much better than Duran Duran, Depeche mode, wham etc. and the fact that Nena was singing in german made it much more cool.. No other german act has done better since....

Actually it's plural: Angels of the night. But you can tell it's plural only because of the verb: "Engel der Nacht wollen sich verlieben". The verb, "wollen" agrees only with a plural noun.
