I had no idea, this model is worth so much O.o it was given to me when i was younger as a present now i feel i must sell it on. Question to all the Lego fans out there! i have this set : all the pieces inside are sealed in there original bags etc but the box is damaged but still intact how much do you think i could sell it for? eBay

Yes the Tantive 10198 is about 150 dollars but the UCS Tantive 10019 is at least 500-600 dollars IF you can find it....

I've seen that one on ebay. The box is all tore up, I can't imagine what shape the pieces are in even though they say they are unused. The next cheapest one on ebay new is over 600 dollars. The cheapest I can find one from a reputable dealer in new condition is 500 dollars. And by reputable I mean not on ebay. I think I paid around 300 for mine in good but used condition with no box.

Do you remember how much you paid for this and the UCS Star destroyer? I can't find either for a reasonable price. They're so damn expensive. I found the y-wing for around $170 new. I think i might go with that first...

dang, im about to feel really old saying this, but i remember like 5 years ago (maybe more) seeing this in the Lego magazine Star Wars series, and i think it was like $100-200.

Just looked on amazon, and saw 1 for $600! *if only i could go back in time and smack myself into getting it*

wow! Did you remove the landing gear? How did you support the back end?

I have two thick strings keeping it up, one is around the thin part in the front and the other is between the drums in the middle part and the rear part. The back end is just hanging, I just did my best to get the pieces connected as tightly as possible. The entire ship is turned slightly upwards, which might help.

wow. you're brave. I thought about hanging the death star from the ceiling (when I get it) I'll finish the bottom of it and leave the top open so I can hang it from there. Nobody will ever see the exposed top.

Me and a buddy of mine were talking about that the other day. Heck, I'd rather see a scale Star Destroyer based on that. We were talking about making a scale Star Destroyer based on the UCS Millenium Falcon. It would be the size of a large house!
