@SupremeCommander360 Thanks heaps mate, very happy to hear your enjoying our vids...we may not get heaps of views, but we have the best circle of subscribers on Youtube!
@cuddly247 Yeah it has some kind of system to push it out into your area. Not sure how it works to be honest, the conveyer belt itself must have something that sets off sensors to push the food out to the right table or something : )
Man, I would love to go eat at a place like this but you need someone who reads Japanese just to order. I eat at kaiten sushi places and am always bugging the chef for something.
@perdomot You'd be able to fumble your way through, coz they have pictures...they also had a menu with pics, so you could point at stuff followed by saying "kudosai" : )
@MicknFumi I've done that at places like Dennys that have a picture menu but I wouldn't even know what button to push to get started on the screen. It would be great if there was an English button like on the train ticket machines. LOL
@perdomot Sorry I didn't say that properly...they had like an "old school" normal hand held menu made of paper & cardboard with pictures that you could simply turn to a page & point to stuff you would like to eat. I think they were probably catering to the older crew not keen on computers, but it would be good for gaijins as well : )
@MicknFumi I see what you mean. Still, it would be nice if I could use the electronic menu. Just saw a video by another vlogger named Shay and the electronic menu she used had both languages on their.
@DramCommentorPivot Yeah microphone mod fail...I muffled it too much to avoid wind noise & created new problems, the mod I have now works much better.
The fourth piece of fish in that bowl (right before the octopus) looked like mackerel. Also, the powder from which Fumi-san made her tea is called maccha. The kabuto on the stand at the entrance was a replica of the one worn by the hero Masamune Date (I think).
As for my enjoyment, that's one awesome restaurant... the sashimi looks so fresh! Jealous, lol...
Your videos are sooo good, you deserve more views.

Looks like a very nice restaurant indeed. Did the food on the conveyer belt get sorted out automatically (i.e. into your "booth")?

I love the old style Japanese resturants. Do you tip in Japan? I usually pay 15 to 20% tip depending on the service.
mellowsky47 5 months ago
@mellowsky47 No tipping isn't a Japanese custom...I do it in Bali sometimes coz everythings so cheap & the people only earn a few $ a week.
