  • today on german TV. Crying like a baby

  • "Anybody actually sick?"

    "Just the doctor" :-(

Even today I can't watch this scene without tearing up

  • I cry a little everytime I see it, at least inside.

  • Be generous.

  • You set the tone.

  • This is also Dr Pratts first appearance on the show

  • dr greene you are legend!!!! i was sad at your death but it very well done and so perfect and am sad that ER is finish for good wish they keep going for 5 more years

  • What is the music? x

  • This is the best episode ever in the life of Emergency Room

  • RIP Dr. Greene :-(

    Best character ever

  • I cry every time I see this episode.

  • you set the tone mark!

  • it is so sad that the best people of er have to leave

  • This is the perfect music to cope with Heath Ledger's death. I was depressed a few days hearing about Heath's death and I remembered Mark Greene and his death on ER, so whenever I play this music, it just feels so soothing.

  • I agree

  • when can i get this song?

    please help me

    tanks!

  • a gracous sweet way. nothing too sappy.

    westongrl

  • This was a fitting end....tending to his last patient. Kinda wished the part where he had the brief conversation with the lady with the hangnail.

Woman - "But I have a hangnail and it hurts."

Dr. Greene - "I have a brain tumor and it's inoperable."

    Woman - "Huh??"

    (very quick response from Greene)

    Dr. Greene - "I win."

  • It was a great ending for him, even tho I always kinda thought Dr. Greene was a jerk, It was still sad and he was a great character. I didnt even think for one minute ER would last this long without him.

  • They couldn't have made a better exit for Greene if they tried. Definitely one of the best episodes ever. As the series progressed, the show seemed like it was all about Carter. From his humble beginnings as a med student up to the point Greene tossed him the basketball. In a way, I always thought that was his way of passing the torch that Carter was ready to take over the ER which he did. Too bad it was only for a few years though.

  • omg im almost in tears

  • to sad

  • I remember when this was first on, I absolutely fucking lost it when the homeless man saluted him.

The next episode was pure torture as well, and I didn't even like Dr Green :'(

  • omg how could you NOT like him?! :'( thats sadd =( i bawl my eyes out everytime i see it :'(

  • whats the song is it???

  • OMG, when he looks at Susan is so sad!

  • Yes. Mark pass it to Carter, but Carter pass it to Morris. God! i hated that so much. Anyway, Mark´s death, all the episodes it took to make a good story, was really great. Er should have end with an episode after on the beach and Doug and Carol should have been there.

  • This is sets the standard to what good medical drama on tv should be. And in a perfect world what it would be in real life.

  • Ah god, this was good, I remember the pilot where Morgenstern told mark to set the tone, and then for Mark to past it onto Carter was the best thing ever. I love this eppy.
