Why you going AMD? Get an Intel, they are heaps better atm with more room to overclock and a better upgrade path.
Should probably just get a single Velociraptor raptor drive and not bother with a RAID.
Also what size monitor are you going to use? Not much need to go Crossfire, a single 4850 will handle even a 24". You can then save the money to upgrade later down the track.
Well, I am a HUGE supporter of AMD. Sorry Intel fanboys/girls, but I'm sticking with my decision. (also, its just a rig to get me by till I leave for the Navy lol)
As far as the Raptor drive goes, I already have one from the rig I am using right now. Also, having a job at Best Buy helps get another drive for cheap =P
The Crossfire cards are just for bragging rights =P
