@drpride1991- do not buy this router or any net gear products, they will interfere with ur hdtv service and it will all interfere with your home phone service and make the stupid dial u noise, also if u have a lot of money then y not cuz they charge u about 40 dollars for half a year, for techincal support, yup 40 bucks oh nd if a lil thing breaks or something off of there its a single payment of $35, so if ur filthy rich nd dnt no how to spend ur money yea id get one, if not then go for lynkys

I got my self one of these for 59.99 and I say its a really good wireless router. Really good range from my living room to my room and daughter's room. Connection is pretty fast and smooth as well.

I have NETGEAR WGR61 which is 54 mbps and my room isin't far from the router and i get 67% if i get this will it lag while im playing MW2 on the PS3 please respond

it will not make your connection any faster than your isp can give you. it will improve range though. bear in mind that if you use internal wireless card like intel pro wireless n , you only get 54 mb speeds not 270 like they state. also wep wpk2 etc encryption limits speed to 54 mb. as its still draft N best speeds are achieved using netgear n routers and netgear wireless cards like WN511B. also dual band routers are better as they use 5ghz bandwidth as well as 2.4 ghz .

I have purchased wnr2000 a weak ago and its range is hardly 20meters, howz ur netgear is giving a range of 100 feets, i.e. probably 35 meters, can i extend my router's range also

netgear n 300 is a good one...very easy to install plus good coverage...for those who want decent speed this is the one....will give you even floor to floor range also

i have that same router and it works great i use it with a cable modem and it runs 4 different things ps3 iphone 3gs my lap top and the pc and it works all in my house and about 100 feet out side my house speeds are incerdible

I had this router.. was a pain in the ass. It would only connect to iPhone 3gs and ps3 after i unplugged it, and turned it back on. grrrr

Go with d-link. Netgear sucks and internal antennas are horrible.

hahaha thats funny y spend so much you can build your own for 45 bucks lol and have 1000 times the speed i built my wireless modem with a radio attena it can send signal hecka strong i went to the market down our street and i still had 90 % connection awsome but hey just saying you didnt have to spend 145 dollars but that looks like a reallly great modem too but mine is better though i have mad many people trying to share my wifi connection thats the only problem but i weped it 320 bit encyption

I only use a wireless adapter and it works just fine for my needs..and I actually use it for work to download drivers & software from microsoft, dell, hp, gateway, toshiba, intel, netgear, lynsys, & belkins...
