@iwanttobecullenified me too. I think they've softened him up too much whilst still trying to make him badass, which doesn't make sense at all. I loved S1 Damon, but now they've made him into a lost puppy which just makes him sad I think. Still love him, but would like the old version better. It makes me sad to think that he's just being made into a perpetually heartbroken character, old Damon wasn't like that. He was happy with what he was. :)
