hmm, not genuine i say, but its good to keep the tradition live. kita harus jaga budaya nusantara supaya tidak hilang apa betul tak. tak salah mempelajari budaya lain janji tidak bertentangan dengan kongress kebudayaan, saya juga minat lagu jawa tapi saya orang malaysia, and i can play suling better. correct me if im wrong.

They immitated the original dance and made a performance as it was their culture and art...,

They're from Indonesia who lives in US and trying to keep Indonesian (Aceh is part of Indonesia FYI) tradition live. and I know for fact that one of them is founder of PADI organization, which is a non profit organization that helps Indonesian. So ... give me a fact how you think that it wasn't their culture and art.

I know that Achehnese people are arrogant people who thinks they are different from the rest of Indonesia, let me tell you why. Instead of thanking people of Indonesia who still uses Achehnese dance to represent Indonesia, they insist on not letting the indonesia use their dance. Well, if not us, who else? nowadays real Achehnese people are very rare, some are poor and cant leave aceh, and some cant even do that dance.

They kill our people, ruin our culture ( just like this one), taking away our sources. We used to be a country before we joint the name so called "indonesia".
