  • i am from MI all over. -- we are all going through huge changes--some of us it is very hard. I also know i is an opportunity--no more industry, that land in MI is priceless. it is the richest soil I have ever seen. how about using the vacant land? I wish i was there I would take it back--you can you know, just grow it!

  • Looks like two of the four malls up here in Kamloops, BC.

  • It must be bad for demcad, he dosent have curtains, pics, or furniture in his house.

  • OMG! What time of day were you at that mall? Texas should secede as should we all secede from Washington and form a new partnership among the states.

  • Red Dawn is coming. Wolverines!

  • Yes. All you need is a state referendum.

  • at 4:24 the kid on the right looks like he's missing the top half of his head.

  • MANY STATES WILL LEAVE SOON

  • Of course we can. We've seceded twice already, once from Mexico and once from the U.S. BTW, we never voted to come back into the USA. Texas has been under military occupation since 1865. All states can secede. Read the federalist papers.

  • what a faggit, u r going to sit here and talk bas about war veterans, do u know how many there are in texas????? so shut your fucking pussy ass mouth. BY THE WAY DUMBASS U EVER HEARD OF THE "DRAFT". just because u r a coward, dont talk shit about war veterans. and if texas does have a seccesion, do u really think they are going to keep your ass, after talking bad about everyone grandfathers?????

  • Comment removed

  • 5 bucks says it's gona be 85% if the nhs bill passes becuase there's a small amount that are completly oposed to it like 10-15%

  • im a proud texan, but i disagree with secession from the U.S. my grandfather fought for this great country in ww2, and my great grandfather fought in ww1. now i dont like whats going on in america now days. but im still a proud american. and if texas did that i feel it would be spitting on every war veteran that went to war, and the other war veterans that didnt come back.

  • im from london england and i heard the dayton family bangin in the background, now them dayton boys be real

  • We can secede the only question is will oboma let us leave peacefully and if not I don't know about y'all but I'll fight for Texas independance like my grandfather's grandfather did

P.S. I don't know when you posted video but now it's up to 40% over all now

  • Your mall looks better than the mall in burton. Texas cannot secede though they could originally that changed after the civil war at least according to my mom who teaches government (in texas). Flint is getting worse again. Without jobs it doesn't matter how many people live there. No one can afford to buy anything and since unemployment has been raised it makes people ineligible for their food stamps... so they're having to choose.... not a pretty picture. I still miss Flint though.

  • people need to understand the federal goverment both parties are poking your eyes as state goverment we need to secede what good is the goverment doing for us but sending our children to die over seas and this goverment is out for big companies and more power to enslave the tax payers more states need to follow texas example and let the feds crumble int there own debt that they created

  • This dude @ 1:20 sure is drinking the KOOLAID Obamas doleing out...Gimme a break

  • lansing is getting bad as well

  • Damn, that mall looked like a ghost town.

Thanks for the statistics on how Texans feel about secession. I just posted a video a couple of hours ago posing that very question. I should have checked your video out first.

  • texas succeeding is like saying every body is gonna go to heaven haw haw haw. not gonna happen

  • Keep telling yourself that as I hear more and more fellow Texans yelling "Remeber the Alamo!"

  • you have to see the bigger game being played here divide an conquer. which is the real agenda.

  • Vermont threatened secession during the last administration. What did YOU think of that? Did that upset you then? Get your blinders off man.

  • "YES WE CAN!" RoFLoL!!! Love that part!

  • I lived in Texas for 5 years. If they secede, then I will move back there. I kinda like it. The people for the most part are nice. I just don't like the blazing heat, and the monster size mosquitos!

  • Native Texan. Yes, we could break away. Sure, a lot of people (the other 49 states) would say no. Other states also have sucession movements for the record. No, we wouldnt do it unless things got really bad. Bad economically or bad as in we get sick of all the northeners telling us we cant do it. Texas has a very large population of non-native Texans now.

  • Native Virginian.

    With a Texas fiancee.

Ideally that's the truth. Practically, to respond specifically to the video blogger, no and no. Legally has little practice in real life: The U.S. Constitution, laws, etc. ... meaningless! When things get really bad you may be painted as extremists, possibly terrorists. Be prepared for D.C. to be saying they must put down extremism and that you need their protection. Ultimately it would subjugate citizens even more with perhaps foreign incursions. Best..

  • Virginia! Alright!!! The Old Dominion!!! Mother of Presidents!!! Woooo!

  • It's a nice place.

  • Succession was never out of the question for the founders. New England consider succeeding early on in our nations history. The colonies themselves succeeded from Britain. The only thing preventing much succession talk today is the memory of the Civil War. Many forget that the individual colonies came together to form the Federal government, not the other way around.

  • This seems like an amazing time to me, like anything could happen, civil war, revolution, world war, a tyrant like Hitler could take over, if the federal government wants to retain control its going to have to offer leadership and take a real direction that people want, they are too busy playing god to care about what we want. If they keep taxing people, beating people and killing people, people may decide that we don't need them. If Texas does succeed, I think other states will quickly follow

  • the threat of a secession by texas was manufactured by the mainstream media and is just another ploy to undermine any attempt at mitigating the expansion of power at the federal level. it is simply a bill reaffirming the 10th amendment which is similar to the bills introduced in many other states.

  • No it isn't. I have lived in Texas my entire life. I have yet to meet a natural born Texan who isn't for secession.

  • My understanding is that many Texans have talked about secession for YEARS, not just because of the 10 Amendment bills that are going on all over the country. We have also brought forth a 10th Amendment bill in Minnesota and I can assure you that in our state it is not just a media ploy. It's coming from real people, many of them are vets who have are now fed up with the way our federal govnmnt completely ignores the constitution.

  • Neither have I.

  • Well made video. Alaska looks to be doing doing better than other parts of the country.

  • Its the "gangsta nigga" mentality that is holding urban areas down.

  • The malls have become ghost towns. So many people are sharing housing, because it is next to impossible to make it on ones own, even if employed. For this reason, the multigenerational family living under one roof will be a popular trend in the very near future.

  • if they do nuke`em

  • I don't think Texas will succeed. Several states are exerting their rights under the 10th amendment. We all know what happened the last time states wanted out of the contract with the Federal government.

  • My guess is that the US will be divided up into a few different countries within ten years. New England and NYC may be one, California/Oregon/Washington another, and the southeastern states another. Texas could be its own. I am not sure whether it's right or not, but there's a strong chance of it happening I think.

  • I think this country is going to break up into several territories.

I heard Russia is up in your neck of the woods, ready to establish Alaska as part of Russia.

    My question to you:

How did a guy from Flint end up moving to Alaska?

  • Comment removed

  • Russia never thought the USSR would end. They were in denial up to the inevitable just like America and its USA

  • This is the judgment of USA the corporation and those who have fornicated with the Great Whore.

    Corporate Structure = Anti Christ

    Commerce = Beast

Rev 18:4 And I heard another voice from the heaven saying, Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues.

    Assert your Freeman status now.

Google Freeman on the land and find out how.

  • First it is sad next um go see oklahoma it aint taking part in this hole we call the US texas vs new york lol texans thrive in the desert new yorkers die in the desert

your mall in flint dries up of what is around to support you

texas mall dries up what's around

like thousands of farms and ranches with a hell of a lot of food

Sececcion what you got to lose so you stop feeding New York keep it for yourself

  • I have lived in Texas all my life and Texas has only gone downhill since your right wing conservative nuts voted in people like Rick Perry and his ILK. Ann Richards was the one of the best governors we have had. George W. Bush did the same thing with Texas as He did to America. He took a surplus in Texas and drove us into a deficit. This is nothing serious most Texans I have spoken too think it is time Texas went Democratic again and dump this conservative lunacy..

  • yep, I know, Bush had was a disaster as governer, Texas placed last or nearly last in education, healthcare, crime, immigration after 6 years of Bush negligence, and these idiots still voted for the idiot.

  • I think Perry was just shooting his mouth off. Its not like politicians are known for speaking the truth. They just want press time & theyll say what it takes to get it.

  • Yeah I'd rather die than live with my crumpy dad. Living under a bridge would be better. The generation 55 and over compromised our futures by turning their backs on what JFK said in 1961. My parents received a huge inheritance from my grandfather back in the mid 90's. Today they live half the year driving throughout the western USA in a 33' Pinacle motor home with a bumper sticker that say's "We're too busy spending out chidlrens inheritance". Needless to say it's upsetting.

  • lol....dont mean to laugh, but the way you put it was funny!

  • Humour's therapuetic.. Reginald has a good sence of homour as well.

  • no offence but its thier money I say let them spend it.

  • if the Elites want a civil war all they have to give black ppl reperation for slavery in this economy that would be the ultimate slap in the face for the white america....

A Bailout for the Blacks wow!!! LOL

  • I live in Texas and we have the opportunity to either renew our pledge to the U.S. or deny it annually.

I grew up here. We are independent despite how we might have been caste during the reign of GWB and the overtake of the NeoCons (New National Socialist Party). We have been fighting for independence just due to geographical proximity for quite some time.

  • I hope texas breaks off, so people wake up. if they do, drug cartels will run amuck, and they will need thier own military (yeah right)

  • I hope Texas leaves the union...good riddence you red-neck assholes, take GW Bush with you, and lets quit paying that fucker his undeserved federal pension....he's a friggen criminal, a loser ,and was incompetant during his vacation as president

  • Wasn't it the Russian guy that said he felt the US would breakup into different sections. If so, it is strange that any state in the good old US of A would be speaking of breaking away. Prepare ppl.

  • The Russian guy thought that Mexico would occuply Texas.

  • I may move to france, i think. Although the Rothschild vampires can get you anywhere.

  • I hope Texas does seperate from the union & that many other states follow. Our government has not represented us in decades & is too corrupt. 99% of them need to fired. Ron Paul is about the only one I trust.

  • I hope the entire south succeeds from the union, we'd be better off with-out the less educated, unhealthiest, high crime ridden states, all located in the south...please leave....

  • (wrinkles 1931) less educated?! you have no idea what youre talking about i go to the second most educated school in america and where is that? the south! unhealthiest get your facts straight dumb ass. the south has hospitals that people all over the world come to.

  • Yeah right " "i go to the second most educated school in america " that right there says it all....hook line and sinker....you're not college educated, you're probably a high school drop out. And just check the stats (anyone reading this message, please do as well) the south ranks at the bottom in health, education and crime, from Texas across to Florida, it's a shit hole...

  • In Texas, these bad stats are from droves of illegals swamping our system. Do the stats without them, and the picture changes drastically. Texas has a balanced budget, a money surplus, gives 12% more than it receives from the federal govt., has the lowest tax burden of any state, and is creating more new jobs every month than all of the other states combined.

  • Five years, but I didn't rush it.

  • The fact that invoking the 10th Amendment is even being taken seriously by several states, not all in the South............should be a massive warning to DC that lawmakers better get back in line. Any attempts to thwart the people will only make things worse.

  • I think Texas considering breaking away from the Union is interesting idea. I think that States discontent with Federal is apparent and will get worse. I dont think the Fed government is gonna tolerate any rogue states, even though any state has legal grounds to disconnect. Further, I think we all need each other, you know united we stand, divided we fall. However, we have got to STOP the federal government from ruining our lives, our childrens lives and getting rich while we pay them taxes.

  • New subscriber here. I enjoy helping people to earn a little money doing good. I will help people move to France, for example, if they wish. (But don't expect any miracles.)

You seem like a good guy, and I will try to be a good subscriber and to send good luck your way. Good channel, surprised to see a person of color. Rare.

  • no, there are lots of them, honestly.

  • Good intelligent commentary. Keep it, the way you do man. I anticipate more ghost malls and the commercial real estate to implode. Loss of jobs will increase too. As you said a few days ago, this is just the beginning. Will it really hit the fan this year, next year, 2012??. Not sure, but be sure, some bad things are comin, because of the size of government and the overall greed of borrowing and ponzi scheme. Peace to you man. Stock up food, ammo, silver and spiritually.

  • Good Stuff DEMCAD.

  • I hope Texas leaves the United States and more states follow suit.

It's really the best thing we can hope for at this point.

  • floridastardotcom reports a Flint black punk owes > $530k in child support for 14 kids by 13 women. This dog on 2 legs s/b castrated to never have sex again with women he never cared if they were preg.

  • Why is it so important to point out that he is black? White Harvard boys have cost us Trillions, TRILLIONS after knowingly creating a mortgage securities ratings scam, both are criminal but what does their skin color have to do with it?

  • Texsas is goonna kick some us ass

  • They are laughing at you though, whne they say texas may secede. Come on, Afghanistan cant secede, let alone texas ! Ha ha ha ha.

Basically, the Rotschilds and Aristocracy have devided that the world would be better run as a communist society. They ARE correct, in that most people WILL be better off, for less work.

However, it can be like hell, if they run it wrong, and dress police in robocop uniforms, and give them weapons and say "Keep the peace".

  • WHO though, are all these people who keep vanishing ? Why do they sense danger, and where are they really al going ?

Its as though they are moving away, for whent eh bad thing happens.

  • Maybe they moved to France, as I did.

  • I am from Texas, and I can tell you that if things get bad enough the federal government would have a very hard time forcing us into submission.

We are a very well armed state with a major port city, significant technology and manufacturing, oil, and a number of military bases.

Plus there is a spirit of resistance that is gaining in strength.

That said... Perry is not going to be the leader. Perry cannot be trusted any farther than he can be thrown.

  • Yeah Dem I also preferred the other music....thanks for your vids - always look for them along with George, VV, Fever, Boomer, bchapman, pschiff, gcelente just to name a few.

  • L-O-L ! No, it must be a conscious nightmare for parents to have any child have absolutely no other option but to move back home; no matter age of the child! We are Americans, we don't roll that way !

  • That looks like the mall where I live. Times are hard.

  • I think Texas what's the Obama to know they do not want to do things the Obama way. I do not think they really want to break away fromt he union. right now it's all hot air. But push them some more they might.

  • For those idiots that think secession is treason, or a state can't do it. I beg you to read the Declaration Of Independence, then rethink your position. It clearly says that when a government becomes destructive of liberty, it is the right of the people to alter or abolish it, and insttute new government. I'm sure glad the founders didn't have a problem with secession from Britain, we wouldn't have America today if they didn't. Our founders were also called traitors, but we know they were not.

  • Wow that mall is super boring compared to queens center mall...

  • Please bring back the old intro music....

  • we had my Mom move in whit us then we moved down the lower 48 Louisiana movein whit my sisterinlawall 3 of us we r all over 50 my Mom 82 is been hard but we r ok..husben out of work sn Novber

  • I am a supplier to Flint and most of the Detroit area municipalities. A home purchased in Flint 15-20 years ago has lost 50%-90% of it's value. People expect this real estate market to just turn around and they will be back to the good times. I don't think it's going to happen that way. I built my home in 2004 for 170k and put another 10k in custome work is now worth 100k. People say it doesnt if your staying...I had a 5 year plan to be in this home, and then build on acreage.

  • Is that Darryl Buchanan (candidate for Mayor) standing in front of his sign giving his opinion in George's video? As for Texas, yes, any state may try to secede, but doubt if any could succeed.

  • If property values continue to fall in Flint Mi. does it matter how many people live there? Does a municipality make money from people's income or consumption, or is its tax base strictly related to property values?

  • Succession is definetely possible. It happened in the old USSR. It would be tough for one state to do it but a breakup of the US is the end game. The federal govmt is becoming waaaay to big and need to be dissolved eventually.

  • YES YOU CAN TEXAS!

  • Gov. Perry is grandstanding...never forget he is a politician.

  • Texas can leave the union but I doubt it will. I'm from Freeport Texas which is Ron Paul country and we are proud to be Texans but also proud to be Americans. We are a little rebellious and may exercise the tenth amendment in the future if Washington gets to involved in personal rights but, this talk of secession is just blowing off steam if you ask me.

  • Man, and I thought I lived in a dump.

  • First they break your will (with poverty), then they slowly offer you peanuts to work for them, and bad working conditions.

You WILL surrender to thsi, and your kids will be worse off. You see, the people doing htis represent about 5% of the worlds population, and the employ another 10% as police.

But thats IT ! They have NO other power. The army is 50/50 and cannot easily be turned on the people, cus they are the people.

So they HAVE to lie and cheat and deceive people. Just DECEIVERS !

  • im really tired...demcad seriously has our backs...i love this guy...slightly drunk...i aPOLOGIZE

  • DEMCAD FOR MAYOR OF FLINT!!!!!!!!!

  • Texas wasn't the first state to threaten succession from the union. Montana was the first due to the government coming out with gun ban ideas just over a month ago. So if Texas goes, Montana won't be far behind. I think this will be a wake up call for the Fed Government, at least I hope so. We the people have let the government get involved in several sectors it has no business in. It's now time to get them out.

  • The union will not let Texas secede.

  • If Texas does I support them and may shut my businesses down and move there and start them back up there so they can get the tax revenue

  • I think the biggest problem is how the states are relying more and more on federal funds and these funds come with a price. That price being, "You do as I say or you get no more money."

  • No body can take down Texas, Chuck Norris lives there! When Chuck Norris goes to run in the morning, his feet don't move him forward; the ground moves away from his feet!

Now seriously, a movement like that from Texas, if followed by other states, could well be the only way to avoid a revolution. If a few states get serious about Sovereignty & warns the Federal Gov of Secession like Texas, it would be a new beggining for liberty & freedom from Big Brother. Just what the Constitution ordered

  • I understand that there are about 21 states that have either already declared sovereignty from the union or have introduced legislation to declare sovereignty from the union.

Also Demcad I wouldn't trust the polls. They're pretty bogus

  • Does anybody actually know what the Fedral Government mandate is under the Constituion in America???

They are not there to make laws for the whole of the Federation of States, individual States are supposed to do that.

These States are just trying to politly remind the Fedral Govenment of their limits under statute.

After all Fedral intrusion is whats killing your Country from the inside out,so it should be one of your top prioritys when/if you ever contact your State Rep.

    Peace.

  • I knew Texas was going to succeed from the union 3 years ago. It was just a matter of time.

  • great video!!!

  • I belive the Texas issue is not really them claiming full soverignty, its just Texas wanting to re-affirm its state independence under the 10th admendment in The Constitution, they are not the only state to have called for this 25 others have also..im sure you must be aware of this.

It is just States re-aferming their relative independence from Federal Government Intrusion into every aspect of each States Laws

after all that is how the Constitution seperates Fedral mandate from State Control.

  • Right on, Reg.

  • I know its of point D but Your goatee Really suits You.

    Peace.

  • every state has the power to secede from the union. of course, there's the problem of the other 49 not allowing them to and preventing it by force.

texas isn't the first state to either pass legislation or announce these secessionist beliefs. its happened in new hampshire i know for sure and some more out west (i think wyoming and maybe arizona but im not sure). Usually the legislation is worded with a that if a constitutional majority agree to conditionally secede, they will secede as well.

  • Alex Jones is from Texas. He said that Gov Perry is a NWO shill who is blowing hot air to raise his voting base, Nothing else!

  • The mall I used to frequent is being bulldozed to the ground now. I don't even know why people shop at malls, I get all my clothes and accessories from the thrift store! LIke, hello?

  • Do they have the right? Yes. Can they? No, they can't. The Federal government won't let them. I think the angle on the upcoming election is likely correct. He's not serious. If is he is, then he's serious about creating thousands of deaths among the people of his own state. That's some serious mess to bring down on the heads of anyone. I hope he realizes that. What I want to know is why all the news has turned so flowerly on the economy within the last week or two? Good video!

  • Speaking of books, I don't buy them anymore. I have plenty of them. And I download free and legal ebooks. And also download freeware and shareware games and other applications too. I don't understand why a lot of people and especially in these hard economic times buy a game such as World of Warcraft and the expansion packs too. And then pay a monthly subscription to play online. Baffled!?? 0o There are many free online games such as Red Stone, Mythic, Archlord, PlaneShift, etc.

  • Hey Demcad.... you the man

  • Your videos are so good

I look forward to each one

Thank you for your hard work at getting these out

  • I would have thought that a much higher number of people would have known that Texas could succeed from the union and a much smaller number would think it's something they should do. I know they could but believe it would hurt both Texas and the rest of the USA.

  • Alaskan Independence Party, a group that wants Alaskans to vote on whether they wish to secede from the United States

  • We do have the right to become an Independent nation it's in our constitution and we also can become 5 separate states but that doesn't matter. If things in America get too fucked up, though, I would totally vote to break away from the union deem me a traitor but I pledge aligance to the America I remember not this slowly morphing country of immoral socialists-sit-on-your-ass-an-get-paid types. But we do most definately have the right to break away.

  • Texas certainly does have the option to succeed from the Union, but it is hard to imagine if that really did happen in today's world. I hope it does. In fact, it might show the whole world that people here in the U.S. know that their government is tyrannical.

If it did happen, it would definitely get a world wide audience. People everywhere will start to see the bigger picture.

  • 7:12 Why you aint spit no game to that white girl yo? See man, we got to get you back to the brothahood so you can get ya swagga down. We all seen you look at her little booty.

0:40 Come back the hood my nigga. Ya people need you, and you need ya people.

  • It's Ketchikan...She's probably jailbait!

  • If anyone doesn't think TX could secede, first, ask a Texan, 2cd, the NWO always advertises its intentions. Watch Jericho and see where the borders end up after a false flag nuke attack

  • I'm leery of Gov. Perry based on his attendance of a Bilderberg meeting a couple of years ago. Nothing good ever comes from attendees of those meetings.

  • I totally agree. Never, ever, trust a Bilderberg member and that includes Texas Gov. Perry.

  • lloydmer

    thank you

    FUCK PERRY

  • Wow. It's what I'm saying, they *WANT* you to revolt.

I'd do the opposite of what they're preferring.

  • I agree they do want the American public to have a revolution

that's why I no longer trust the "ron paul revolution"

they want us to revolt, so that you-know-who can step in and have complete control

  • Yep.

You-know-who is a fall guy. Once he's out-used his usefulness, gone.

His good looks and promises that seem tied to them, including his blackness, was just to accept another Bush. They'll be displeased, citizens, and they'll set up yet another reason to crack down on us, saying the two former Presidents did it. They want someone with experience, not a 47-year-old charmer. Scape goat.

Ron Paul's Illuminati. He does the signs, so, Alex Jones.

  • Hot air for now and they have another problem, although they may legally do it their may be a war.

  • we all see the things now, that most of us never seen before in his/her life

day by day worse and worse untill it hits you........ that moment will and must come

    easy as it is

  • looks like malls are a thing of the past....they charged to much anyway...and the lousy music they played LOL

  • the mall looks dead.

  • I went into a Kohls department store today after work and it felt more empty than ever. It was quieter than normal for a Kohls. Are Friday evenings usually slow for department stores?

  • we need to become more like the european union. --A single entity, w/ member states. Thats how we were after the revolution

  • No way Texas can secede. It would have to take a few more states with it to be viable. How would that effect the national debt? Texas couldn't just walk away from that as it has used the money from the fed. It really doesn't fix problems when you break away, just look at the former Soviet Union states. Some are nearly at war with each other and several had to have a war to break away.

  • Most of the debt belongs to blue states like NY and CA. And forming a new union would free Texas of federal debt.

By the way, Texas' economy is far superior to any of the socialist states in Eastern Europe after the collapse of the Soviet Union.

    It'll be interesting.

  • And what you said is TOTALLY true I live in League City Texas it's Southwest of Houston and I have not felt any effect of the recession at all...like really ...maybe you guys should come on down? xD

  • My husband could be losing his job at Roadway in Memphis, TN and having to transfer to one of their terminals in Dallas. Can you tell me anything about Dallas. I have looked on the internet and there seems to be plenty of jobs there that I am qualified for myself.

  • Dallas sucks, I lived there while working fo the US Government, it's the most boring, backwoods big city in America. I lived near Lake Ray Hubbard, about 25 minutes from Downtown, which was a nicer area, but Dallas itself is basically dead. I spent quite a bit of time in different cities, Baltimore, Portland Oregon, Anchorage Alaska, Seattle, Atlanta, Louisville, Sacramento, and Dallas was the worst of the Bunch, I just hated Texas

  • So Texas could just walk away from the debt but get to keep the nukes and military equipment that the debt basically bought? The rest of the US would not support that as it would increase their debt obligations to make up for the loss. The military personnel in Texas are from all over the country and wouldn't really want to back up a separatist movement and the US would not tolerate a country with nukes so close to its border. Even Canada isn't allowed nukes. A new cold war would start.

  • The airvforce would probably either remove or disable the nukes well before there was critical mass of public support for succession..

  • Actually...it could.. Badass I know lol

  • RE: Flint Mich. The exact opposite is happening in Portland Oregon which as you might know hit #2 in national unemployment behind Michigan. We are still getting a heavy influx of people moving here which is expanding our tax base especially since our urban boundaries began to expand. Those taxes are being offset however by no jobs and so many collecting unemployment benefits. So much so that emergency legislation is being conducted to deal with the fallout.

  • I just got a job and secured some student loans to get out of my parents house. I had to move in after my 5 year old business folded. This has UNQUESTIONABLY been the worst 6 months of my life and I can't wait to leave in 3 weeks. I've done everything right. Go back to school, save money, be resourceful and find work. What did I learn? Karma doesn't exist. No matter how kind and open you are to others, when the sh1t hits the fan you only have yourself. That's cool, I have no doubts now.

  • And yes, I know people moving in with one another.

  • Good for Texas. Let them get away from the Federal crazies.

  • The only person(s) talking about it are Chuck Norris and the Governor.

I've lived here all my life and am a Ron Paul supporter.

I have no idea where the secession talk came from by the Governor other than trying to grab the "real" conservative base to win his re-election bid next year.

Secession talk is a last resort.

Look at what democrats did to get back at Bush... they went out in force and voted a new leader into office.

Learn from their action is what I say.

  • the beard looks good man

maybe you grow the dread locks ..

    rock on ..

  • If Texas secedes, will the state experience an influx of freedom-loving residents of other states relocating to Texas? Will such immigration be restricted? After all, Texas may be the only bastion of freedom left!

  • well there was some guy in russia and he was talking about the u.s.a will break up into 4-6 sections.i thought at first that he was just trippin, but now with this texas movemet i dont know because doesnt it make you wonder if texas breaks away do you think another state might join them as well?

  • Can we get more footage of you dribbling the basketball?

  • lol

  • Yes, I think Texas can secede, in fact it may be just what we need to fix the country.

    Going back to a 50 state government/rule

50 small governments have a better chance of success (at not becoming repressive) then one big one,

    GO TEXAS!

  • lol now you can relate to Canada, and the Quebec separation issue. At least they speak the same language.

  • thanks for the video shots of ketchikan mall. i think that many of us enjoy seeing what it's like there. concerning texas ceceding, it's pretty ridiculous. the point is that everybody is upset about the debt that is being laid at our childrens feet. we need to stay focused on protesting that. no state is going to cecede... that's proposterous/. the controllers are about to create an american union of canada, mexico and usa...

  • dem - great vid it is so cool to see Ketchikan; i enjoy it everytime whether its indoors or outdoors :)

i think its good you are from Flint MI and can speak to that. i myself am from Tx and no Tx cannot just secede on a whim. when Tx joined the Union it was indissoluble meaning that is it. however Tx does have a unique background and several power of the people underpinnings do exist. also i don't care what polls say - Tx is unique and everything else would collapse around it.

  • I agee man, but heart went out to that man in Dee-troit, trying to remain positive in that environment.

  • I live in those ares

  • Its not just Texas my friend, Its 26 other states also, including yours, Research it.

  • That was the plan of the Hunt brothers, who tried to corner the silver market in order to supply a value based currency for in independent republic of Texas. One of the Hunt brothers was riding in the JFK limo when he was shot.

Interesting little piece of history. Many speculate that JFK was knocked off for colaborating with the Hunts to emancipate Texas. Apparently Texas is in a unique position to succeed due to some constitutional technicalities.

  • My understanding is that the US and Confederacy were two different countries, and the Union captured Texas and took the land.

Apparently a Supreme Court decision back in like 1880 stated that because they didn't "join" the Union voluntarily, they have no right to secede from the US.

But, that means states like Montana and New York have every right.

  • The reason for the 31% is that most Texans know that Texas used to be it's own country. You'll notice that the number is more than one and a half times the 18% that want to secede.

  • I think when more Texans wake up the percentage of folk wanting to secede will rise. Texas has too many rural areas to even begin doing real gun confiscation in fact the local news showed today more and more are purchasing guns before Obama bans them. But personally I think Perry is blowing smoke.

  • You need to visit the mall in my city it is freakin packed.

On easter the whole aisle on walmart was empty, the easter asile.

  • i don't think texas will succeed, but i do think that more states are getting tired of footing the bill for wellfair states.

I moved from a big city to a small town and i know of 5 families that have moved back because of job losses. (town of 500 ppl.)

  • my brother and his wife are moving to argentina, her parents have a home for them. i worry that if the world economy goes bad, he wont be able to get out.

  • Argentina? Hmm...if I were you, I would be more worried about getting out of America...or where ever you are.

Argentina maybe safer than the U.S.
