I think she would have a long way to go before achieving bankai. I do hope that Kubo would make her more kick ass especially if she is, and I quote, "skilled enough to be a seated officer". I would love to see her with bankai, but I would rather watch her develop it over time than her just having it all of the sudden. But a more kick-ass Rukia would definitely be on my "Need to see" list.

I'm a big fan of Rukia but it's like she has not been having much screen times as the other characters after the SS Arc. I understand that in the past she gave her powers to Ichigo so it's reasonable that she can't fight that well, but after the SS arc incident she's supposed to regain her powers and becomes stronger but it's always either Ichigo or Byakuya who saves her in the battle, which bothers most Rukia fans alot.

@gekko855 I think so too. She's got the skills and power of a vice-captain, and she has a commanding personality too. Byakuya pulled some strings so she never becomes a seated office so she never has to be in danger. Good job keeping her out of danger, Nii-sama, she got ran through with a spear.

Hmmm... Rukia is powerful enough to be a vice captain. ( and she would be of byakuya wasn't so overprotective.) she could've killed the espada with kido if she didn't want closure. Im still impressed, in later episodes the 7th espada says aranerio was one of the "originals."

No. Head of Aaroneiro was in half of Sode no Shirayuki blade. She just regenerated sword and gave damage by "accedent".

Also , I think that Rukia needed to use these incantations to perform her double - kido skill , but probably she is able to use level 60 or higher even without the chants .

After all Renji , who is said to suck at kido , used hado 31 chantless .

rukia only beat 1 espada, and it was number 9. 9 meaning hes a weakiling compared to all the other espada except yammy. im pretty sure that that anybody could beat this guy without bankai, rukia does own and my guess is that they will show her bankai in the new movie about her. rukia does own, and her kidous are at captain class but sstill withought her sword she would have been toast here, ubless she had lvl 90's hado like aizen.
