The bleedin' just lets you know you're working hard enough. Piece of paper towel and some duct tape and your good as new. I started wearing gloves recently too. I just decided that continuing to let all those chemicals leech into my skin probably isn't a good idea.
@RamblinAround Yeah even just having to scrub them with lye and agent orange and still not being able to get all the grease off!! That can't be good either eh!!☺
Coming along good so far.. Hope our Thumb isn't too sore tomorrow... The next day is usually when those types of cuts Hurt the most.. Thanks for the video.
Another good video Everett, I know the "driver to digit" concept pretty well myself!..lol
I also use similar gloves everyday , all-day, when I'm working on forklifts. I use them more to minimize the need for the heavy hand cleaners when washing my hands so much from all the grease, gear ,and hydraulic oil. A few decades of daily hand washing with these new de-greasers 20 times a day, and your hands are pretty much a mess! Great video!
@carnivore10 Thanks Tom!! Yeah I remember the ol' day, washing up with lacquer thinner and Trichloroethylene every day!! it definitely tears your ass up!!☺
Hope this mishap does not put you on the DL...8>) ) I can see the tears in Lil Racers eyes now from laughing so hard... Wrap it up with a paper towel and secure it with masking tape and you'll be good to go. Standing by for the next adventure...
@Needmorehorsepower Ya kill me Dude, I almost died and you're making light of it!! They're 5/8 H.P. They were Made and used by Maytag on there washing machines for houses that didn't have electricity!! They were made from 1911-1952!!☺
@mbyr31 Thanks Bud!! Did ya ever know something was gonna happen long before it does!! I knew as soon as I picked up that screwdriver I was gonna jamb it threw my finger, I just didn't know which one!!☺
Blood and Maytags i know thats happen before.... Love the maytag videos Everett. I SUBSCRIBED. Duck tape works well on small cuts thats what she said. If ya need any parts just let me know!!! *MaytagPartsKing* Tell Racer i said whats up with his channel?
@ligebellbuckletn thanks Bud!! To bad you didn't have a video on taking that snap ring off, it might have prevented me from jambing a screwdriver under my fingernail, lol. Racer has been putting alotta hours in at work the past few months, he's been trying to put some vids up but just doesn't get the time. thanks for the parts offer, I'm sure I will be in touch with you!!☺
Well, some places inside the engine are pretty clean and you can take it of pretty easy too. You are lucky that only the screwdriver bit you, imagine that other things bite you :)

@805ROADKING You don't need it anyways. You may want to prevent infection so you might lose your hand. A pizza cutter will do.
