dude it could have gone without saying that it could possibly be used as a weapon. now if there ever is an incident with one of these little pry bars a quick internet search for one will link to a video with weapon in the title. perhaps not a big deal in the states but in many other countries that would be enough to bugger an innocent carrier over if arrested and taken to court, especially in the uk where the laws are against us edc gear fans.

I wouldn't say it's cheap. For 5 dollars you can buy a lot of other things that might have more utility. Can it save your fingers, fingernails, flat head screw drivers, and the tips of your knives from damage? Yes, and that may redeem the value of it, but it's 35 cents worth of metal, this just happens to be high quality steel and it probably scrap from making the breacher bars like spyderco holes that's more profitable than recycling.

You can get a piece of scrap metal from a junk yard for a few pennies and with a little elbow grease make your own. It wouldn't be difficult to duplicate the exact same design as it's not very intricate to begin with.

You are incorrect about the potential volation of laws. That miniture wonder bar or pry bar can be considered as a breaking and entering tool by a police officer. I agree it isn't much of a tool, but it can get you in trouble, not that it will.
