Its not the song lol, its him. Its easy to tell, the guitar sounds way louder than the song in the back. Also he slightly misses a note in the solo so there you can notice its his guitar all the time.

ok. what you played was pretty much perfect. The only thing I have to comment about is your form. it kind of bugs me. I'm thinking that when you play rythym parts pull your thumb back away from the frets, you look like you're in an uncomfortable position with your fingers all crooked and scrunched up like that. I would try to fix.
