I completely agree with you. This is a sexy Persona game. :D But I think it's sexier than 4 though. But I think Fuuka's voice isn't that bad. I love all the voice actings except Chidori's, her voice is terrible, it's even worse than Fuuka D:

I went a little overboard with recording footage for that game XD. Then I want to talk about the other PS2 titles like Nocturne, DDS's 1 and 2, Devil Summoner, and continue from there :3.

Heya, nice review! As many others here I just started it on the PSP. Its a shame you cant control the character (point & click style on still images :/ ) and the missing anime cutscenes. Can you recommend other Shin Megami Tensei games too? I tried Devil Survivor on the DS and its FUCKIN AWESOME!
Honestly, as a fan who played Persona 4 first, I was actually sorely dissapointed by this game. ^^;
Not to say it's bad, but I just found the story and mythology of the Dark Hour to be thin and un-rewarding, the characters not all that developed too well, (the fact that they didn't have Social Links REALLY didn't help. XP) and killing off enough other characters to the point it becomes a running gag.
Not saying that it's bad, but not TEH GRETEST GAEM EVAR like everyone says it is. :P

I'm curious, would you have to play all 4 Persona games to get the story line, or is it like Final Fantasy that each game has it's own story? Because I've never played any Persona game, and I'd like to start on one without getting cunfuzed by plot.
@Finalblue1234 I would say it's like Final Fantasy, kinda. I believe the first two titles have a direct connection, as in a main character, but good luck finding those. Persona 3 and 4 however, don't really have any story relations, aside from taking place in the same universe, and 4 having a throwback to 3.
If you were to start the series, I'd recommend 3, than 4, and eventually the first two. ^_^.

@Yuriofwind the psp version doesn't have the cut scenes, a static over world , exept tarturus and the boss areas. You also have the ability to control the other characters(why wasn't like that from the beginning?you still die if your main character dies.)its a good game to play, and it's portable!
@Yuriofwind lmao xD well, as I said, it's a stripped down version (you don't really wander around place, you move around through menus - except in tartarus). Apart from that, the only difference and, well, addition is that you can play through the whole game as a new girl character, and many of the scenes are supposedly different or whatever. I don't know how significantly, because I'm still going through as the male (original) character, but I hope it's different enough!
Magaret from P4 has a cameo, you can control the AI, fusion spells are items, no anime cutscenes, no outerworld and everything's done as a visual novel style.
@Yuriofwind You can play as a female character and there is a big additional sidequest with Maragret from Persona 4. Unfortunately, there are no anime cut-scenes except for 2 openings. Also, have you played FES?
I do have to say though that I felt that the cast of P4 acted a lot closer to high-school students than P3. P4 looks at more personal, internal issues ( shown clearly in the dungeons) where as P3 tended to look at broader issues of identity (or at least, that's how I interpret the Evokers and stuff). The P3 MC is practically a martyr where as ultimately the P4 MC is "finding his true self".

Everytime u come back to 1st floor. 100% heal is the exchange for "Feeling" in P3 I say. P4= no tire, but not 100% This isn't FES? There's more after it, story continues with "The Answer"
