The rate of growth of Islam in the United States, if you discount immigration, but include conversions, is actually less than the natural growth rate you would expect just from people being born. Yes, there are a few thousand converts a year, but there are some 300-400 MILLION people in the USA. I lived there for almost 30 years and never once in my life met an American convert to Islam before I went overseas and met a couple in Saudi Arabia, and then those that I did meet were all insane.

The rate of growth of Islam in the United States, if you discount immigration, but include conversions, is actually less than the natural growth rate you would expect just from people being born. Yes, there are a few thousand converts a year, but there are some 300-400 MILLION people in the USA. I lived there for almost 30 years and never once in my life met an American convert to Islam before I went overseas and met a couple in Saudi Arabia, and then those that I did meet were all insane.

@SuperDedara I think a person who converts has to be a little lost and not really understand the nature of reality very well. I think they are also psychologically vulnerable to think they can abandon one delusion say Chistianity and trade it it in for another say Islam. Islam has a novel exotic value for the convert- esoteric phrases in Arabic, dress codes, endless rituals verbal and physical, and a whole new set of childlike beliefs in the fantastical- Jinns flying horses.Very Sad

You are welcome to Islam. Please study last sermon of prophet Muhammed delivered in Mecca. He advised to avoid extremism. But what Talebans did in the name of Islam was what ancient Arabic and African tribal uncivilized Beduwins did. Western media used those bad activities of Talebans and underestimated the holy Quran. Always reject any group/ party that use Islam for violences for their purposes. Extremist Mullahs and clerics must be rejected to save Quran from abuses.

Many of his 'revelations' he made up on the spot when he needed more sex extra wives. little girls, his adopted son's wife or more booty than his gullible followers. There is only one god. The bible was corrupted by humans after the death of Moses and Jesus. Quran is the final revelation which restores the true message and commandments of one true CREATOR.
