Although id have to be under the influence of something to receive the desired affect, I do appreciate this as art. And contrary of what others claim, I do not believe Portishead ripped off from this song to create "We Carry On."
I literally heard these for the first time today (thank you Spotify) on the LP. over 40 years old and a million years into the future. Absolutely brilliant
I met Simeon a few years ago in Detroit, before he found Danny Taylor again. I agree, he is a very cool guy! I am working at locating / gathering parts to duplicate the original (1968) Simeon. I have the HP generator.
Any musician that uses WD-40 and duct tape on stage is my kind of guy!
Dave Brock has acknowledged the influence these guys had on him. This is exactly what DikMik was doing during his time in Hawkwind. Fantastic Soundscapes. Many Thanks for making this available
Tripping shit. Window pane. You old guys will know what I;m talking about. Love this stuff. WHOA...did I have a flash back? nah...been waiting on one of them for 40 years. lol
can you imagine hearing some shit like this in the late 60s?
i bet they were on stage just jamming and people were just like..
uh... wtf?

I think back in 1968, people seriously thought that time machines WERE invented and that these guys had come fresh from the future.

Can any audio-geeks tell me what gear he was using?? Looked like a theremin aerial up front, what were the windy things?
