  • if you remember, the ADR course, when launched was also an attendance course only.......... and judging by some of the hgv driver's on the road these days, any training should be welcomed with open arms....

  • I am a new lgv driver I found it very hard to pay for the cpc I think its wrong there will be a lot of very capable drivers out there that wont do it so how will take over there place and companies that wont be able to aford it all.

  • Yes mate blah blah bored now. We were told during our 'unpaid to attend saturday' sesh, read a book, look out the window, or if you want to doze off no probs but please don't snore. Lol. Its a total waste of my saturday and just a way of making cash from already underpaid drivers. Ive been wasting time since by stopping in laybys smoking, my way of getting a little payback. Hehe!

  • I am an HGV Driver and in my opinion this cpc is a total con and yet another way of leeching money out of companies and drivers, ha this guy belives his own rubbish.

I ask you sir, if you truely belive drivers will be gaining out of this aswell as companies why then is the cpc an attendance only course?? All you must do is ATTEND 35 hours in 5 years. you do not have to pass any tests every 5 years, people turn up and nap in the lessons get there hours and leave.

    Pure waste of time.

  • @lantyboy In Romania, all 35 hours are during one week starting Monday, 7hours/day, followed by exam on Saturdays, with officials from Transport Ministry .

The exam is on a computer linked to a ministry server online, you get your answers instantly...

  • @lantyboy #totally agree with you....

  • Im a training provider in Sussex and a member of Systems consortium. They offer a good package and i look forward to working with them in the future.

  • These guys know their stuff. Helping local companies make more profit must surely be a good thing
